American Tourister Stratum 2.0 28" Hardside Large Checked Spinner Luggage One Piece - Jet Black

A good suitcase: sturdy, zipper works great, wheels function as described. The description said "purple" but the color looked more of a hazy pink-toned mauve to me so I thought I would try it. (I'm not really a purple fan) I really liked the color of the suitcase, but the zipper was lavender. It didn't really match the suitcase which is not a deal breaker except that I don't like lavender. I decided that would bug me so I returned it for a different color.

Took this on four flights (checked luggage) and the body of the suitcase held up nicely. Wheeling it from home to airport and to various other locations in between flights was fine. The handle could be sturdier as it struggled when it was pulled out to its biggest length. There's an option to pull the handle out halfway (it locks in place) and at this length, the handle is much sturdier. That being said, if your suitcase is heavy and you're a tall person who needs the handle to be at its tallest/longest, it might be a challenge to effortlessly roll (vs. pull) this suitcase beside you. For the price, it's worth it. I got it on sale for about $57.

When we've taken trips together (1 week-long), I've been amazed to see that she fits everything she needs into her carry-on....so I wanted one, too, for shorter trips. I find the durability and capacity of the Stratum line of luggage to be very impressive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second medium piece of luggage that I've purchased from the Stratum line. I own the coral one, and just purchased this one in green for my husband. He's been using an old soft-sided piece, and we discovered that my Stratum luggage holds SO much more stuff! I've used my luggage on 10 trips over the last year or so, and it has held up very well. I love the swivel wheels, which make rolling it along very easy.

After searching on the web for this specific hard shell American Tourister carry-on, I came across Walmart. The thing that caught my attention was the price and delivery time. Since I am scheduled to leave town soon. The luggage looks sturdy and practical for my needs. It would have been great if it were available in different colors as with other vendors. Hope that it Performs as described.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] pretty color and size. Inside is a good amount of space, great roll control, strong outside, smooth zippers. I finally had to replace my dark purple 2019 tourister carry on, when the allow size was way higher than 22” and this doesn’t compare in size at all. But love the softer purple and handle control. Love that it expands as well.
