Just what I needed. Very sturdy and decent size to store away easily. What I also liked is this could be used as a seat for projects that's positioned a little lower.

Our last step stool lasted over 20 year before one of the hinges wore out. In looking at a new step stool, I wanted two steps and durability with rubber steps for safety. This stool has great weight and a solid metal build with rubber on the steps to prevent sliding. This stool is a bit wider than my previous one so storage is a bit tricky-minor complaint. If you want a solid stool that should last for years, consider this option.

I needed help getting into my kitchen cabinets to put away the dishes on the top shelves. Serves its purpose but I wish I had gotten the 3 step and I wish there was more to hold on to for safety.

we purchased this to replace a Coleman of very similar design. Not as heavy built as the Coleman, but rated the same. Loop handle at top is about 8 inches closer to the ground than the Coleman, making it a little more difficult to use.

We bought these chairs because they reminded us of the chairs we used to sit our children at the kitchen table when they were toddlers. Now that we have grandchildren we needed them again. My only wish that they would be about two inches taller for them. Otherwise, they are perfect.

Came with a bent bar that kept the safety latch from being able to latch. With a little man-handling, I straightened the bar out and now the latch slips over the bar as I believe it should. without the bar/latch, the step very easily will collapse if the climber places too much weight on the front of the step. Nice step stool with those adjustments. Will be using in the garage and outside.

Be very careful with this step stool. It folds up very easily while in use. Happened to me last week. Fortunately no injuries. I have a similar style that is 30 years old and never had an issue. The latch not as good as the old one.
