This ringer works really good! It has adjustable volume. Also there are four ring tones to choose from so if you have trouble hearing certain sounds. You can connect your existing phone to it also, or use it standalone in another unused telephone wall jack. I haven't seen anything that needs to be changed on this product.

My 89 year old Mother was not answering her phone and that would worry us. I purchased this device and put it on her night stand next to here bed and she answers every time now.

Got this for my grandma who can barley hear the telephone so we got 2, one for the living room and one for the bedroom.. She was really happy to hear the phone ring! They have 4 ring options & 4 volume options it was worth the money spent! If your grandparents or someone who has hearing problems this is the product for them!

This product worked great for my needs. My mother is very hard of hearing and she only hears certain tones. I connected this to a regular phone and she can hear it ring from quite far away. This has been great for us since I would panic when she used to not answer after many rings and it usually was for reasons like the TV was too loud or she was just sound asleep and couldn't hear the highest setting on the phone. It was the best present for myself and her.

My mother-in-law "CLAIMS" she can hear just fine. But when ever she's on the porch or in the back part of her house no one can seem to reach her. So some one would drive over there fearing the worst to find that she just couln't hear the phone. So I bought her this and no more missed phone calls! So far it's working out great!

My Father is 88 years old and has a hard time hearing the telephone. I bought this product because of the good reviews. Very happy, he can now hear the telephone ring. I did not set the volume all the way up and still is very loud. Also easy setup, great buy.

It is not louder than our equipment. It would probably work in a home environment.
