Absolutely love this guitar. I bought it as a Christmas gift for my daughter so she hasn't opened it yet but I really think she will enjoy it. I love the fact that the amp connects to a headset. I will buy her a regular amp once she's had a few lessons.

Full disclosure: I have a fender custom strat and have been playing guitar for over 15 years. I purchased this Ameritone as a starter guitar for my daughter and I am honestly blown away by the quality of this instrument. It feels and sounds like a fender strat. It comes with this awesome little headphone amp that enables you to add distortion and rock out in your living room without anyone else being bothered. There's a quality guitar bag that comes with and a subscription to an online guitar lesson service (i have not checked this out yet). For a little over 100 bucks you can have a surprisingly awesome guitar with a sound and feel of an expensive fender. Bought this guitar for my daughter, but I started playing it instead. The push button chord thing works pretty well and makes it easy to play. The headphone amp is pretty cool too! I plugged my laptop output into the aux input on the amp and could actually play along with the lessons (sort of), no problem. My timing is a little awkward, but I think if I stick with it, Ill be a rock star in no time! Ive taken the push button thing off and tried to form chords and the guitar is pretty easy to handle - easy to push down on the strings. For the money, this is better than I expected. I recommend it!

Purchased this not expecting much, give the price. I have several guitars and someone had suggested ameritone as a good option for variety at a low cost. I was pleasantly surprised by quality and what was included. For example, I recently bought a travel case for 60 bucks that does not seem much different than the one that comes with this. I also was impressed with the quality of this guitar. This is an incredible value for someone who wants to start playing, and the mini amp that comes with it is another added plus. Has a very solid feel and, once I tuned it, it has been really fun to play. So I give it an excellent rating consider the quality of the product at that price point, I am not sure you could find a comparable option at this price point. No regrets whatsoever with this purchase.

I'm a beginner and I just got this today but I love it! I have no complaints, it's a beautiful guitar, it sounds nice, and I haven't had any issues yet.

the guitar is nice comes with plastic learner fret clamp no instruction how to use it.The free instruction does not exist .Thr sign up is a onlinr karioke menu .No way to contact customer service either .DISAPPOINTed!!!

Tried plugging it in to Xbox (Rocksmith), speaker thru auxiliary and headphones. nothing. just buzz static. I also tried to power it thru USB, that just created more static buzz.
