Read the reviews after the stand was en route and was already planning on a return. Package arrived unharmed so I was curious and opened it up. Was pleasantly surprised to find the stand in mint condition. Putting it together by myself wasn't hard. All hardware was present and everything fit fine. My 75 gallon tank didn't collapse it and it doesn't move at all. It's sturdy and has supports where they need to be. The material looks questionable but didn't crumble or crack when putting it together. It's a two hundred dollar stand (the cheapest I could find anywhere) so time will tell if it was a good buy. It wasn't scuffed when I got it and I didn't scuff or dent it putting it together. Basically the horror I read in the reviews stayed in the reviews and didn't manifest itself in my living room floor. Oh, and the espresso color matches perfectly with my kitchen cabinets.
This wasa gift for someone and it came together nicely. I got it together by myself in about 2 and a half hours after delivery! Very nice and even got help from fed-ex man getting up the steps! No damage done or anything its set up and very much one of the best online furniture purchases I've made online!
This stand is great.!! It’s beautiful and goes well with my decor!!! It was easy to put together. It strong enough to hold my 55 gallon tank.
Seems sturdy, most parts lined up all right. Some of the finished edges are not great, and a couple of the pieces are off a bit, but it has been holding a filled 55 gallon tank for about a week and seems like it will hold up.
I like it for the price! It does hold my 55gal tank which is great but I do notice that the top wood could be a bit thicker as it does have some very slight gaps indicating that the wood is slightly flexing. Also being particle board and water does not ever mix so be extra aware of any drops of water that you spill on to it as it could cause issue down the road. But for all that it is worth, I would recommend this stand for its price and looks.
I am extremely scared to fill up this 75 gallon fish tank on this stand. This was by far the worst build it yourself stand I have ever purchased. Extremely unsatisfied. The only thing that will save this experience is if I fill this tank up and the weight stabilizes the stand. It got sent to me with TWO missing pieces. I got shorted one wedge and one cam screw. Two very important parts. Not only that, two sides didn't have ANY pre made holes like these stands normally do and it caused the perforated wood to split. I had to make my own holes multiple times and in the end the entire stand is already unbalanced. I tried placing it in multiple areas of my house to see if it was my floor but nope it's the stand. The instructions are very bare as well so if you're not already handyman savvy then this is going to be a trial and error build for you. This is what I get for buying a cheap stand.
This is the worst thing we have ever bought. Base of stand was cracked and buckling. Shelves where chipped all up. Terrible. Ox was taped all up when it arrived.
pieces came warped, scratched, scuffed, premade holes not fully open or aligned properly. cannot even finnish assembling it
Damage to multiple areas and one piece actually broken. Did not appear very sturdy and decided not to use for our aquarium. Wanted to return but did not want to take it apart or pack it up. Wasn't worth the hassle or frustration.
Opened the box up only to find part (F) was split in half and one of the doors had a huge crack in it. After seeing the type of wood this was made with, I dont feel safe putting my 55 gallon fish tank on top of this. I have a 2 year old at home who is all over the place.
