Ameriwood Home Wimberly 1-Drawer Nightstand, Black Oak with Faux Rattan

I love the look and space these nightstands give me. I keep my cd's on the bottom of one and my DVDs on the bottom of the other. I have space on top for pictures and magazines. Who knew you could attractively put all your stuff in a nightstand. I love it. Oh, I'm not mechanical so I had to bribe my daughter to put this together. She claims it's easy. Oh! look at the inside of the drawer --- sweet!!!

The nightstand is a nice size for the price but overall I can't recommend this product. You have to read the description carefully to see that the rattan drawer front is printed and not actually textured, which defeats the purpose of having that element. The assembly was much more difficult than similar sized products i've put together. The predrilled holes barely lined up and needed to be forced together. Overall, I wouldn't personally recommend.

Love the size of this dresser! It's very wide but looks amazing. I will say that the “opening”'part of the dresser is very big. So be prepared to decorate/stage that area. Also, the cane part of the nightstand is actually “printed” and not real cane. It still looks great, and looks like cane until you get close to it and actually touch it. But otherwise, it's still a great nightstand that I will be keeping!

I was a bit worried as many reviews say 2 people are best when putting the nightstand together - I will agree that it would be ideal but I was very pleased with the instructions and I was able to complete two nightstands (2 hours each) by myself and I am by no means a handyman. Both nightstands turned out nice but I did mark down 1 star because I wish the rattan/cane detail was really and not just printed paper slid in. I may try to upgrade on my own and replace the panel.

I knew I wasn't ordering an expensive classic nightstand, therefore, I am giving it a 4 star based on my expectations. The piece is not painted but has a veneer of paper which was rippled in places, but luckily where it wouldn't show. It was rated on the tough side of assembly, but the directions were very good and easy to understand so together two of us actually had no trouble putting it together. All the screws and small pieces were sealed in plastic. After the assembly was done, it has a very nice appearance, and will serve it's purpose quite well.

I am very impressed with the quality of this nightstand. It looks like something you would pick out at a furniture store. It is very sturdy and fairly easy to put together. I would love more items from this line.

great size - very wide and a large drawer. Looks more expensive than it is but not the greatest quality. I know what I was getting into though. took about 45 min to put together, super easy while watching tv.

The brown inserts are CONTACT PEEL PAPER. Also the two side panels were not aligned very hard to put together. The bad part was the left leg had been laminated over large bubbles on the wood.

Never got past page 1 because one nightstand leg was drilled incorrectly. So, I had to call manufacturer for a replacement leg with the correct drilled holes.

I love the design of this night stand and it's pretty roomy. It's good and sturdy. Pretty difficult to put together and will requires two people to assemble it.
