Ameriwood Home Zoe Twin Headboard in Ivory Oak

This color of blue blends into the surroundings it does not stick out, is a perfect match for a wide variety of decor settings. It is a quite attractive headboard, and it is functional also. It matches even off colors blankets, it just makes them look like they belong! I have my grand-kids items on the shelves and it keeps their stuff read-i-ly available which is a nice for them to see their stuff right there and they know what they can put what they want there and it will look cool, cool blue! I have a lamp on the shelf also which helps light up that area but there are many things that can be used and it would bring out the best look for any item used on the shelves. I use it for a futon bed, it is relatively sturdy, if the need arises to I could use a wall anchor but it does come with the hardware to attach it to a twin bed, it is really convenient to have what items you want at hands reach. This is so attractive that if there was additional pieces I needed I would stay with the same furniture decor, I would use the same line, it is the most eye appealing and show stopping...! There was only one tricky part for me putting it together but that was easily remedied then the rest went along smoothly!

This headboard took about an hour to assemble. It has a good bit of weight to it. It's a navy blue color. Very well made. All sturdy materials. It has holes to line up and attach to most bed frames. My Frame did not line up, but it is not necessarily needed. It sits very easily between the bed and wall. Fits a twin frame. Intended for a child's room, but we are using it for spare bedroom for guests. I'm very happy with this product.

The Ameriwood Home River Layne Twin Storage Headboard was delivered to my house in an approximately 4' X 2' box and it is heavy! You will need some help to put the headboard together. The instructions are well illustrated but it would have been nice to be able to read each step along with the illustrations. They did suggest that we go to a YouTube video for help in assembling but I didn't use that option. I personally prefer hands on instructions. Some of the instructions were really hard to understand especially if you have never had any experience with wooden pegs. On a very positive note, I must say that the Cam locking system used makes the headboard very sturdy. They made sure to reinforce the storage area as much as is possible. The Ameriwood Home River Layne Headboard is made of particle board but it looks like it will hold up well over time. I do LOVE the color! It is a deep blue, almost navy. This headboard would be suitable for anyone that sleeps in a twin bed.

This Twin Storage Headboard was not the easiest piece of furniture to assemble, but it wasn't the most difficult either. It probably would have helped a great deal if it came with some kind of manual or directions for assembly. We ended up having to look online for some directions from the manufacturer who is “Ameriwood Home” We found that it also helps to have a model number to refer to so it will make it easier to find the right assembly manual. The packaging seemed like it could have been a little more compressed, as the Styrofoam flakes came off onto the boards. For the most part, the headboard is made to attach to a regular twin frame, so it's not a stand-alone headboard at all. For us, we lean it up against the wall and it stays propped against the bed, so it works, but it will work better after my granddaughter graduates into a regular twin bed. As for assembling the parts all the boards were “marked” with letters but some were worn down, so not the easiest to read. I think stickers would have been a better alternative, but it was still adequate to assemble the way it was packaged.

The Headboard in blue is basic. It is simple, attractive, cute. The blue color is a deep blue. It will dress up with accessories nicely. The set up & assembly is easy taking approximately less then an hour. The quality is average. It has a 'cheap' look to it. It does scratch easily so I would not recommend this for families of small children or anyone that would be rough on it. It would be a nice piece for a guest room or for staging a house to flip. Our headboard arrived in a damaged box. The headboard was damaged as well. After calling Ameriwood, we were sent a complete new headboard within a couple weeks. That was very generous of Ameriwood!
