This provides the perfect gentle and hard scrub I have been looking for! I had never seen one of these until recently and it is amazing. Besides a bristle brush or steel wool, I seemed out of luck for trying to get some hard spots of my cast iron. Using any soft material would slow tear within the grit of the Lodge cast iron and steel wool basically forces you to re-season your pan. This avoids all that.
We're new to the cast iron cooking world and quickly realized we needed a scrubber - this works like a charm! This quickly clears off any cooked-on food and makes cleanup a breeze!
Good size and a ring for your finger so it is easier to hang on to. I have yet to clean a big mess but am ready next time. Prolly going to us this n a bunch of other projects besides my cast iron.
