Great tool for the yard
Works like it's supposed to. The rake has a good weight to it that makes the pulling pushing movement easy.

Works well
De-thatching a lawn is hard work, and trying to do any large area manually is a major project. I used the de-thatching rake to work the edges of the lawn, areas where I could not get close with a power rake (de-thatcher). In that limited role the manual rake worked well. A little trial and error to adjust the angle of the rake head and I was all set. Wet the grass first for better results. Using the rake is a good substitute for a workout!

Ames Rake is a MUST to do heavy clean-up
I have a 2/3 rd aces that had not been touched on 33 years! After weed-whacking the Ames Rake was excellent in removing the thatch

Dissatisfied tines didn't last even 3 months
I got this to use as dethatcher and in just few uses the tines are bent. This is just using in my backyard. Dissatisfied that it didn't stay up to its reputation
