Ames® True Temper® 18" Polypropylene Ergonomic Combo Shovel 1603072

The shovel works as advertised. It is quite light and effective. Relatively easy to toss snow. Sometimes snow sticks to the shovel. You may have to consider some sort of silicone spray to prevent that if you're shoveling damp snow. I'm a little worried about the metal edge as it is thin. Software is held up to about 10 snow shoveling this winter. Looks like it will be OK for next winter. I just wish the edging was a little more robust or replaceable. If it was a little more robust, I could take a file to it and sharpen it a bit, which would be helpful. The main advantage of this shovel is it's leverage. It has an angle on his handle that allows you to not bend quite as far and yet provides enough leverage to throw the snow.

The shovel comes fully assembled handle and all, so the box is huge! I like the bright yellow. I live in an area that generally does not get a lot of snow accumulation and if we are lucky it might snow a couple times a year, so this is perfectly adequate for my needs. I am a smaller person 5'1" and it does seem a tad large / heavy to me, so that might be a consideration if you are short or older as I am. It did a great job of clearing my sidewalk and deck, and I just let the sun melt my driveway because I didn't need to go anywhere! It feels sturdy

Great shovel, 1 use so far.

Excellent snow shovel. It's expensive, but If you have to shovel buy the best!

Just what my husband was looking for. Got a lot of use out of it this winter!
