Superior fit and and design. Must be a high end sock on clearance, worth twice this price. Seamless comfy 15-20 compression, edema and calf pain gone...
I've suffered with swollen ankles for year, never really trusted compression socks, tried (cheap)generic off brands which hurt. . . but this brand was amazing and ameswalker had a amazing price, I've bought more since.
Perfect size, top quality, very tactile material. Toe area is wide enough for the highest level of comfort
Nice. Toes need little bigger
Don't know really slow shipping. Same as last pair, some months back
First time buyer & user of Ames Walker compression socks. The ordering part, very simple & straight forward, keeping the customer informed on shipping, ok, however your tracking needs lots of help. The product is absoutly outstanding, fit, function and appearance. Love them. Their on the top of my shoping list for compression socks. Thank you.
I got these to try a lighter compression level for comfort reasons. They do do that. The color is lighter though, and the material is thinner. I have sports compression socks that are also 15-20mm and they are thick and heavy. These are thin and light. My wife said "they look like hose". So, overall OK, but would like darker more khaki color, and thicker material.
I've been using their socks for over a decade. The quality used to be higher. Their nylon socks feel a bit cheap and thin. I've ordered their thicker socks in the past, and they're too hot. If they could go back to the medium thickness nylon/spandex/polypropylene, this would be ideal.
The socks look good and fit well. However, after one washing - in a mesh bag, gentle cycle - broken threads appear around ankle of the sock. They are still wearable, however, not good quality. I would not purchase again.
They were supposed to be extra large compression socks, however, they are a joke. They are so tight that I can't get them on my foot, much less get them over my ankles and over my shins.
