These are a lot easier to get on than a knee-length compression stocking. Great for someone who only has swelling in the feet.

Highly recommend, truly helps with pain from daily concrete floors.

These sox have stood the test of time. I have been using them for more than five years and will continue to purchase them as needed.

Just what I wanted. I was earlier using knee high compression socks but was difficult to put on and take off.

Not too thick and not too thin- these socks work well with my athletic shoes and give good compression in lower leg and ankle.

Comfortable, soft . A little warm.

This did not work out,. The top was like a tourniquet and so when I took them off swelling went down on sock portion and swelling was up on the portion above, the swelling around the ankle was more than above or below, and the swelling on the upper unsocked calves, knees,thighs seemed to me more uneven. There you have it, the review Ames has hounded me for with requests.

Not what I expected Tight and difficult on and off

Too tight at top. Caused leg swelling. Can't use them.

First I bought a pair of Ames Walker 8-15 mm compression socks, size L. (I'm a 6 ft tall woman, and most womens' socks cramp my toes. I liked the first pair, so I bought a pair of the same brand and the same size, basically the same sock with 15-20 mm compression. The foot part of the sock is 2 INCHES LONGER than the foot part of the first pair. I will be trying a different brand next time. I didn't try to return them. I only wear the too-long socks for sleep.
