They aren't as good as they used to be. They quit making the full size hose which is what I ordered, and they don't last like they did. But when you have to wear support hose I have to settle for 2nd best. The 2nd best break down to fast and becomes uncomfortable at the top. I have ordered from Amazon also, but they don't feel good. All hose companies are different .
This is my first pair of open toes. I was concerned that they would not be comfortable, but they are amazingly comfortable without the pressure on my toes good product and I was lucky enough to buy mine on sale.
The beige pair seemed to work well. The black pair fell down on the first day of wearing. More specifically one of the stockings kept falling down. After wearing them a few times they seem to be working better. Both pairs seem to be a little shorter than the Jobst that I had previously. Otherwise I'm happy with them.
Great Value. For all of us who have to wear these all day every day it is nice to pay a little less. Especially because my insurance does not cover them.
These are very comfortable, I can wear them all day. They have a nice amount of compression and not too much of a struggle to put them on.
20-30 pressure is not tight enough around my feet which causes them to wrinkle up around my ankles, so am returning all but the pair I have worn. Will reorder 30-40 later.
These will be very sturdy as they are thick and shouldn't catch on anything. They are not very soft, but the 20-30 support is good. I wish Ames Walker would put better labels on the hose, so you can tell what size and support strength as I have both M and L.
I love the AW thigh highs . I have worn them everyday for 15 years or more . The only problem is sizing is inconsistent. Some times the same size will run really small but never too large . If they don't fit easy to return though .
Sorry, but sizing is difficult for a breathable fit without squeezing the life out of you IF you can get into them. I understand what “compression” means, but you do have to be able get into and out of the hose thigh high or pantyhose.
Not worth the very expensive price. I have only worn them 3 weeks and they seem to already be stretching out and not as tight. I am tall and on the thin side so size isn't a factor. I needed these for a trip because I have P. O. T. S. I paid 40. 00 to have them expedite shipping over night. Ordered on a Wednesday which should have given plenty of business days to fulfill this before the weekend. I was leaving on Sunday for my trip. The order did not arrive in time. They did refund my shipping fee amd that was veryappreciated. These thigh high compress tights are not worth the price.
