Amherst Entryway Bench

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This just what I wanted. It's sturdy and affordable. I needed something to sit on in my entryway, and store blankets in. It took two people 2 hours to put together, with talking breaks.

I purchased this bench for our foyer, to be both decorative and functional. The am so pleased with the result! There are some portions of the assembly that are best suited for two people working together, but much of it can be done with just one person. It is good quality, has a nice finish, and is very sturdy! Would recommend!

Bench went together easily with all tools besides a Phillips screwdriver 🪛 included. Very solid and lid spring prevents slamming.

Love how the bench looks in my foyer. It was easy enough to put together.

Good quality furniture. They give you extra hardware. Just don't over tighten screws and everything will be fine.

Very nice bench, but we ordered the color “distressed gray” and it's more brown than gray. It looks more gray in the online photos though. They should change the color name from distressed gray to something else and update to a better photo to show the brown tones. Bench is sturdy and well made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Certain parts of the instructions were very vague. Holes that were not there and the hinge had to screw in lower than the holes that were there. Once assembled after using chat GPT for help, was good and quality is decent.

I received this bench and was disappointed in the quality. Given the price, I expected much higher quality, instead it feels cheap. The seat opens but you have to hold it up (doesn't stay up). Although it looks nice, it doesn't feel like it's worth half the money I paid for it. It also is very small. Looks like a child's bench.

Bench arrived damaged and maker did not have spare parts to replace the damaged parts - Returned item to Walmart.
