This humidifier filter/wick was as expected and worked well. Humidity in the midwest winters is important in the home, and this wick makes that possible.

Buyer be ware.
Just like all wick filters they don't last long, if you do not rinse them every day they will start smelling. Wash them every day and they fall apart. They get floppy in the units and allow air to bypass the filter, reducing the moisture emitted. I have been dealing with humidifiers for over 11 years. All types all makes all models. Due to COPD we cannot use ultrasonic humidifiers and the white dust they produce. So we are stuck with wick filters. Be careful what brand you buy, these were not very good.

Doesn't wick
Didn't work in my AirCare humidifier, doesn't wick. Should have read the reviews before I bought off-brand, but I figured they were all the same.
