AmLactin Ultra Smoothing Intensely Hydrating and Moisturizing Cream for Body, Exfoliating, 4.9 oz

I've used this product consistently for several years specifically on my elbows. It's very effective. Applied nightly, it keeps them from turning into a crusty, flaky, discolored mess. I may be old and wrinkled elsewhere but I have the elbows of a woman half my age!

Great price for effective product. Have tried every product from emu ointments to blue pucks. But the key is the active ingredient of LacHydrin(lactic acid). Like most topicals, does require regular use. I dealt with dry cracked callused heels x two decades, painful to walk sometimes from bleeding cracks. GONE now due to this product. I also use a grater and Swedish Clover Foot file so this cream can work most effectively but my feet were really bad. Now I only have to use the cream and occasional file.

I purchased this as my skin is extremely dry and crepey - was amazed at the immediate improvement. I've used other products by this Vendor for my Plaque Psoriasis condition's itchiness - immediate relief!

I love all of AmLactin products. I am a senior with thin skin and started following Dr Dray on YouTube. She is a dermatologist and made this recommendation and it truly is working for me. I am prone to bruising easily and this product line truly helps my skin. I’ve always moisturized so I have soft skin but needed something to help with strengthening and keep the softness.

Wife uses this. She’s always had eczema, since her twenties, forty years ago. Started using this a decade ago or so. One of only a couple lotions that actually works for her. Most moisturizers just don’t work well enough or are so expensive, really can’t afford it.

So why not 5 stars for what I generally think is an excellent product? It seems like the product lacks consistency in batches. You order it and it mostly a thick cream. Other times it is borderline runny. Now it works the same but requires a different application method. I wish they would improve their production consistency.

My husband and myself both used this product and it “cooked” us. Our skin became very red and raw.

I have used Amlactin Ultra Smoothing cream for many years. This new supposed improved cream is sticky %26 slimy, %26 I couldn't wait to wash it off. I don't know what to do now the original is no longer available.

This is the first time getting the new formula. It smells so badly my cat wouldn’t get in bed with me. I can’t use it. I threw it away. I liked the old formula fine and it says the new formula smells better??!!

Just rub petroleum jelly on your skin with a hint of lotion (and hint might be too much). This is nasty. I don’t do reviews, but I had to let it be known in advance what you are buying.
