Excellent latex free gloves

kenny0259 April 10, 2018

I received a box of one hundred Ammex Medical Exam Grade Powder Free Blue Nitrile Gloves for my honest review of the product. These are disposable gloves that are FDA approved for medical use. They are known for their strength, durability, and barrier protection against blood borne pathogens and other environmental contaminants, making them useful for medical and dental professionals, or any usage that protection is needed. These have three times the puncture resistance of latex as well as exceptional chemical resistance to solvents, oils petroleum powders, and corrosives. The textured, micro-roughened finish provides a good non-slip grip when gloves are both wet and dry. The fact that they have no latex means they provide a safer work environment by preventing allergic reactions in workers, patients, or clients. They are also chlorinated for a comfortable fit and feel and powder free for no messy residue when working. I love that they conform to the shape of your hand for a closer fit. and the beaded cuff is 4 times thicker to prevent tears and make the gloves easier to get on and off. I find them quite useful for many things around the house including cleaning the kitchen and bath, or disinfecting the mess a pet leaves when they have an "accident" in the house.

soft and comfortable

Kyanajoon April 3, 2018

I ordered the medium size, they are not tight and they are not loose, they are just comfortably fit. Very easily put on and off. When my husband is using it stretches a bit and he loves it. They are soft and light and they last longer than I expected.

More durable than Costco gloves

reviewMD April 20, 2018

I really like these Blue Nitrile gloves. I have extremely dry skin so I wear disposable gloves to do chores around the house like laundry, cleaning, vacuuming, gardening, etc. I have been buying my disposable gloves for over 10 years from Costco. We have multiple kids, so we are at Costco a lot. :) In recent years though, Costco's grey gloves seem to tear a lot easier than they used to. These gloves perform much better than the Costco ones. After a few hours of cleaning around the house, they are still good as new. These remind me of what Costco's gloves used to be. I have small hands, but I don't like my gloves too snug. So I ordered the Medium size ones and they fit very comfortably for me. I like these gloves and would recommend them to you!

Many uses

ughhhhh April 3, 2018

I don't use these Ammex Blue Nitrile Gloves for medical exams. But there are so many other uses for these gloves. I always have a box of disposable gloves in my home for household purposes. They come in very handy for messy chores like cleaning the toilet and cleaning the cat's litter box. I use them for dish washing when I have a fresh manicure. I use them when I am cleaning with harsh cleaning products. I find disposable gloves to be so useful when I am preparing food. I can cut onions and garlic without making my hands smell. And they are very good to use when handling raw meat to avoid cross contamination with other food. These Ammex Blue Nitrile Glove are so good for food prep because they don't have a coating of powder to get on the food. I also use them for gardening. It's so much better to be able to dispose of the dirty gloves rather than keep a dirty pair of gardening gloves in my garage. And these Ammex Blue Nitrile Glove are strong enough to use when planting and moving the soil with your hands. My husband and I recently painted our bedroom and clean up was much easier because we used gloves. Here is a good hint, when we took a break from painting we put the brushes inside a glove so they wouldn't dry out. My husband also keeps a few pair of disposable gloves in the car. I am a retired hairdresser. So I have always used disposable gloves for hair color. As you can see disposable gloves are an invaluable asset to our everyday lives. And these Ammex Blue Nitrile Gloves are strong and durable enough for most tasks. I did find that the size medium that I always buy were a bit snug. But they were stretchy enough that they were ok. I'll probably buy a size large when I need more.

Gloves

ertigers April 3, 2018

I did not get a case, I only got one box of gloves. Thankfully they can accommodate my long fingernails without piercing through. You must make sure your hands are not wet or sweaty when trying to put them on. I have used them for deboning chicken, picking up trash in the yard and working with potting soil for my plants. When using my fingers and nails are still clean with no dirt on them at all. I have taken pictures of my nails and then showing you with the gloves on and that they are not piercing through the end of the gloves. I also typed the last two sentences with the glove still on. I have no issue with the gloves and I highly recommend.

nice glove

GRAVYGIRL April 3, 2018

THE AMMEX PROFESSIONAL SERIES DISPOSABLE GLOVES ARE LATEX AND POWDER FREE. THIS HELPS IF YO ARE ALLERGIC TO LATEX. BEING POWDER FREE IS SOMETHING I PREFER. I ORDERED THE MEDIUM, SIZE THINKING THEY WOULD FIT MY HUSBAND FOR CHORES IN THE GARAGE. THEY RUN SMALL. THEY FIT ME FINE. NO WIGGLE ROOM THOUGH. THEY ARE TIGHT ENOUGH TO PICK SMALL,THIN ITEMS UP IF NEEDED. WILL BE USING THEM TO WEED AND DO OUTSIDE CHORES. THEY COULD BE USED FOR INSIDE CHORES ALSO. HAVEN'T FOUND DOING ANYTHING IN THEM THAT WOULD RIP THEM OR TEAR THEM. NOTHING I HAVE DONE WITH THEM HAS CAUSED A PROBLEM WITH THEM. THICK ENOUGH TO KEEP FROM GETTING HOLES EASILY, BUT THIN ENOUGH TO HAVE GREAT SENSITIVITY TO BE ABLE TO PICK THINGS UP WITHOUT STRUGGLING TO DO SO. IT DOES CAUTION THAT IF COULD CAUSE ALLERGIC REACTIONS IN SOME PEOPLE WHO ARE SENSITIVE TO NITRILE MANUFACTURING COMPONENTS. IT DOES NOT LIST THE COMPONENTS. AS FOR ANY GLOVES, IT SAYS TO STORE THEM AT TEMPERATURES LESS THAN 104 DEGREES AND OUT OF DIRECT SUNLIGHT, INTENSE ARTIFICIAL LIGHT,X-RAYS MACHINES AND SOURCES OF OZONE. THE BOX ALSO STATES THAT THEY PROVIDE AND EXCELLENT BIOLOGICAL BARRIER. SO THESE WOULD BE GOOD FOR SOMEONE CARING FOR A PATIENT OR IN THE HEALTHCARE FIELD. IT SAYS TO AVOID EXPOSURE TO HARSH CHEMICALS WHERE HEAVY DUTY GLOVES OR INDUSTRIAL GLOVES ARE REQUIRED. I USE THEM TO MIX WEED KILLER AND GROUND STERILIZER AND HAVE NOT HAD A PROBLEM. OVERALL A REALLY LIKE THEM AND WILL BE PURCHASING THEM WHEN I RUN OUT OF THESE.

Nice Fitting Gloves

BMS29 April 4, 2018

Per Description: Although good quality nitrile gloves provide an excellent biological barrier, they are Not intended for applications involving prolonged, direct exposure to harsh chemicals, where heavy duty or industrial gloves are required. These gloves are good for Medical Exams, are Latex Free, Powder Free, and Disposal after one use. {I use for cleaning & cooking and they work for me} I really appreciate that these gloves are Powder free and no messy residue that might get on anything I am cleaning or cooking. These gloves are pretty thick and are not easy to tear plus they are very easy to put on and take off. I measured one of the gloves flat on the table & measured approximately 9” from the tip of the middle finger to the end. I always considered my hands small but do sometimes prefer medium (various types of gloves). From the tip of my middle finger to the end of my hand is approximately 6.5 inches. Yet they fit very well. I could easily pull down the glove to fit my fingers, when and if needed. I like to use gloves while cleaning and while cooking. These gloves are Exam Grade and are Non-Sterile. I put a pair of gloves on then washed them (as though it was just my hands) to clean them before using while cooking. (I do this as a precaution when I use gloves when cooking and handling food.) And I gladly just throw them away after using. I really like that these gloves are thicker than other plastic gloves I have tried. And they were very easy to put on and take off. Yes they are a little larger than my hands but they fit and were not loose like you might expect for gloves that are larger than your hands. I was surprised that they fit so well and I had not problem wearing them while cleaning or cooking. (I had no problem with the glove parts that were a little longer or wider than my hand and fingers – which amazed me.) Well worth purchasing again. I was given the opportunity to use and review the Ammex APFN Blue Nitrile Gloves. Above is my honest opinion about these gloves.

Many uses

LYNN April 3, 2018

I am not a medical professional. But I uses disposable gloves quite often. I always keep a box handy. These Ammex Blue Nitrile Gloves are not sterile which is fine for the uses that I need them for. I use them for doing housework, and for garden work and even for coloring my hair. The gloves that come with hair color are so flimsy and sometimes tear before I am finished with them. These Ammex Blue Nitrile Gloves are very sturdy. I like the fact that they are not packed with powder like some other disposable glove are. They also are not latex which is important for those people who have a sensitivity to latex. I did notice that the size medium that I have are a bit snug. They fit tighter than some other size medium that I have purchased. I will probable get a size large next time. But they are very stretchy so they are fine for now. The box states that they are textured. I don't see any texture. So if you are thinking of purchasing them with that feature in mind you may be disappointed. However, they are a very good quality. The box also states that these Ammex Blue Nitrile Gloves may cause an allergic reaction to people who are sensitive to nitrile. I don't happen to know what that is. But for those people who are allergic to nitrile, you will definitely know and want to avoid, it. I think I covered everything that buyers may want to know about these gloves... the pros and cons. I like them and find that they are very useful.

Poor Company

Villagecrane October 23, 2020

Not impressed with this company. Nothing special about the gloves. Thin and cheaply made. The company if pretty poor. Takes a long time to ship and then even longer to get the gloves. I placed a second order and got the wrong gloves. I would not use this company again.

False Advertising!

Stargazer October 31, 2023

These are NOT AMMEX brand! I should've known better when I saw they were more than half off what I normally pay for a case of 1000. I thought it was a perk of my W program and a color not a lot of people wanted (I normally buy the 1000 AMMEX in indigo). These are some cheap knockoff brand called Ambitex. They're so thin that I will have to double up just to trust changing an adult pee diaper, triple up for an adult BM diaper. So not worth it. Stick to the REAL AMMEX brand that costs $99 for 1000.
