These simple extenders are also great to keep things you throw in the bed upright and not sliding out of reach. I added a cargo net to mine. Install is simple, and the unit I received fit perfectly.

This AMP bed extender works really well. It's light weight, easy to install. Does exactly what I need it to do. Would recommend.

Makes a nice little "trunk" when flipped in to accomodate smaller loads. Easy to remove when the truck bed is needed.

Bracket installation was exact fit for my truck. PDF instructions were better than the video. Great product.

Product is nice, replacing an old Retrax system. New system covers the top bed cut out holes, the old unit was slotted so you could use the top hold down holes. Need to step up quality control and making sure all the install parts are in the box. Shipped without hardware, to get new hardware you are on permanent hold. No hardware leaves you a 1 for installation. Add to that need to downsize the hole drilled for the drain tubes. both drain tube holes were drilled larger than the drain tube. Had to glue the drain tubes in. This resulted in a lower score for bang for your buck, $2K plus purchase should top quality.

The product is nice and appears well-made, although the pricing is high compared to most other extenders on the market. I chose the bed xtender max because the design allows more useable space near the tailgate. This purchase was intended for a specific trip I had planned, but due to the extended shipping delays it did not arrive in time. Despite the website stating the item usually ships in 3-5 days, this took a full 2 weeks to arrive, which was past the dates of my trip. I called RealTruck to cancel the order after a week and was told they would cancel it and issue a refund. No refund was issued and I was surprised to see the item was delivered while I was away on my trip. I ended up keeping it, which I'm sure is what they were hoping by sending it after the cancellation, as I will be able to use it in the future.

I received the extender very promptly in good condition, but the adapter kit for installation with my bed cover was backordered for 2 months. Consequently the extender has not been installed.
