So, the title does disservice to Real Truck. Only because it was the shippers fault. First order I received was missing parts due to shipper damage. Real Truck came thru and sent me a brand new set instead of waiting for missing parts. I gave the installation 5 stars because I installed them with the provided video, good job us! Had an issues after installation because they wouldn't deploy. Turns out that they needed a little time for whatever reason. Regardless, they work and look fantastic. Also, Real Truck sent me a new OBD plug after I told them I didn't think I needed it. Frustrated at first but Real Truck care of me and that's truly what matters. I will be spending a LOT more money there. And if I didn't get a chance, thank you to all that helped me. You earned a long time customer.

I felt pretty confident when install day came due to all the reviews of videos I watched lol! But when I opened the box, things went weird real quick. Nothing synced with all the materials I reviewed. Clicking on various links and QR codes yielded no help. I reached out to RT and the guy I spoke to was a little baffled, but was able to determine it was the latest revision and there hadn't been any tutorials made on them yet. Fortunately, there was a PDF document that I used to perform the install and RT was able to email it to me. Product works great! I like the hold feature and the LED step lights. Be ready to spend a couple of hours at minimum for the install if you're at DIY'er and working on the ground lol!

I purchased these after installing a 3” lift on my Ford Ranger with 32” AT's. I got a great deal on these Power Steps after discussing my options with a Real Truck associate. Shipping was fast and free and the installation took me two half-days. Everything came well packaged with clear instructions. No trimming was necessary and the hardest part was running the wiring harness which I wanted done right so I took my time. Everything worked flawlessly and the LED step light were a great touch. Each side works independently on either front and cab doors. What I appreciate most is the step width and drop of the step down, very natural when entering or exciting the truck. The factory steps were horrible in my opinion and were really only good for bassing your shin's getting in and scraping your calves on the way out. The integrated look of the step is awesome and they fit tightly to the truck rocker panel when stowed. I would highly recommend if this is an upgrade option on your list.

This is a high quality product. They fit the truck well and are very nice to use. My wife really appreciates the non-skid step surface. The installation did have a huge error, the wiring in the directions for the passenger sidestep had a problem. The wires in the installation instructions are backwards, front to back, back to front. I was able to figure it out using the factory wiring diagrams for the truck.

They are my favorite accessory I have added to my 22 Chev 3500! They are so much better then the fixed steps I have had on my previous trucks. The install went well. Plan on 6+ hours to complete. The routing of the wires takes some time if you want to keep them hidden and looking neat. The plug and play wiring harness is simple and the step lighting looks factory. I have already recommended them to my friends.

I bought my first lifted truck at the age of 54. Tried regular running boards, they sucked and, always missed the step getting out and falling on my face. Then I found Amp Research, GAME CHANGER! Seamless transition in and out of the truck, look amazing, sturdy, and flawless operation. Why would anyone not put these on their truck! Thank you Amp Research and Real Truck.

The steps themselves are first rate! However for the price and quality, it would be nice to have access to current instructions. Installing on 1 year old jeep, could only find old Dodge Ram instructions. It's the weekend and can't finish install because of a couple questions regarding wiring harness extension piece….

Just received the Power Steps last week, & had them installed yesterday. The 4th holiday kept them from being installed sooner. They look good on my truck, and seemed to been exactly what I was wanting. I haven't used them that much, so this review is just primary. I do have a complaint about Real Truck not telling me about local dealerships to have them installed. I wouldn't install cookies to find them, so I had to research on my own. Other than that, buying, shipping, & receiving was fairly easy. Hopefully, Real Truck will rectify this & make finding local dealers easier also.

I had a shop install these steps for me which they told me for the most part it was a easy install. Plug and Play. They hide under the truck really good. You can't even tell I have them on my 2025 Ram 2500 until I open the door. So far I am loving the steps but the price was high which I was on the fence about buying at first. They work great.
