Smart Charging identifies any possible problems knows when to stop 🛑 charging

I have used a friends Ampeak charger like this before on my generator battery. It was easy to use and effectively brought my dead battery back. Rather than borrowing my friends, I decided it was well worth buying one for my own.

This charger comes with repair and desulphation features which are very nice! However, the charger is useless when the charge on the battery is below 4.5 volts. It just can't recognize the battery when the voltage is that low. It will just say “please connect battery.” Also, the desulphation does not work on a battery with a charge of less than 7 volts. The low voltage detection limits are not mentioned anywhere on the included manual! Those details are very important when deciding for a battery charger with repair/ desulphation features. I had to find those out myself. Another issue is that the LED backlight was too dark and that made the screen very difficult to read. There is no setting that allows you to change the brightness level. What good is a charger when the discharged battery that you want to charge, repair and/or desulphated doesn't work?
