Amped Wireless AC750 High Power Touch Screen Wi-Fi Router (TAP-R2)

After reading all of the reviews; this was by far the easiest, quickest router to set up. Very pleased with my purchase.

I was enduring slow connections and lost connection with my home Wifi. The provided Wifi box would barely cover 30' away. After adding the Amped 750, I am now able to stay connected anywhere on my property. I have been as much as 50 yds (150') and maintained the connection. Nice to purchase a product that performs. I did make sure that I followed the directions step by step. I was anxious to have the coverage but I wanted to insure all connections were as directed. It took a few minutes but the results are as advertised and maybe a bit better!

I've had my amped wireless touchscreen router for 4yrs or more and it's worked amazing. Tonight when my boys were rough housing around they hit the screen. After that the screen went white/blank and I haven't been able to get anything on the screen since. My internet says it's connected but doesn't work. Long story short, I LOVE this router and only have to get a new one bc of my crazy kids!

Easy to set up.......almost does everything by itself.

Size is perfect also functional. Getting on line "setup" time and steps simple.

Tested as router and access point. Used as access point for a bit over 1 week. Then it stopped working requiring a power down/up reboot. After a few days rebooting became iffy, then just would not work, screen display corrupted.. Great when it worked, greated 2.4G range, good 5G range. Good throughput on both bands. Touch screen handy for small changes. Firmware was latest. Returned, still using 3yr old TPLINK setup as access point. Some other reviews had same problems. Nice unit if you get a good unit that keeps working.

Worked ok for 3 years. Now it only works to wired devices. Tech support told me to order a new antenna and call him back after installation. He said antenna was broken and i should pull out the male pin broken off in the router. After 10 min of yanking on the antenna wire, i called him back and told him he had to be wrong about this. He now looks it up and said I was correct. The male connection is on the router not the antenna. Doesn’t really matter, no wireless transmission anyway. Not even a good boat anchor. Using my 15 yr old netgear until i can but a new netgear

I could not get this thing to work. Very complicated. Would not recommend.
