I have painted the panels and used them to mount framed art for a pop of color. I have painted or covered the panels in decorative paper and used the panels as raisers under clear acrylic cupcakes towers for decorative presentation.at multiple events.

Very nice art panel, well constructed with an excellent surface, suitable for a variety of applications.

I'm a longtime user of linen panels and tried these for a change. Big difference! These have no "tooth" whatsoever, so required a very different painting approach. Every brush stroke turned out streaky. I had to go back over them a second time and ended up "patting" the paint on to get good coverage. Maybe artists get used to these after awhile, but here's my advice if you're new to these "smooth" surfaces: try a few very small studies on before you commit to a larger size. I'm going back to linen panels.
