Ampersand Pastelbord Panel - 12" x 12", 1/8" Profile, White

I really appreciate Jerry's Artarama shipping practices that protects the corners of the various Ampersand art boards. I have ordered elsewhere and have had to return for such damage. They are getting to be quite expensive boards and a user would be unwise not to send back shipping damaged boards.

Works really well with soft pastels. Nice fine texture that holds many layers. Would recommend for your next art project

I ordered two pastel boards, and they arrived safely, and seem a quality produce, but a corner of each board was badly banged and damaged. Consequently, I had to tape off both boards and limit the surface area for work. No idea if this was a mailing issue or a shop issue, but the product was secured in bubble wrap on arrival. I'm still using the boards.

I love the rich colors that are attainable with pastel sanded paper like UART 400. This board does not allow the layers to happen very well. It is possibly a good idea if you're painting outdoors since it's a stiff board. I won't be purchasing again.
