Even though I had tried just about everything Amy's has ever made, I had not tried this one until recently, and now it is my favorite! Thanks to the people who take time to write comments because reading "my favorite" on reviews of this product led me to try it. I read a review that mentioned adding some additional broccoli to the bowl, so I added some freshly prepared frozen broccoli florets to the bowl, and that made it just right for me. Adding more broccoli helped balance the abundance of cheese in this product. I am registering the same complaint/protest as I have for all the Amy's products because the price of the dinners has now been increased to over $6 in Feb 2026. Ridiculous!
For a frozen meal, this is tasty. I like that there's organic ingredients. The price is fair. My one complaint is that the meal sticks to the bowl and when you try to pull it away I can't tell for sure if it's pulling the bowl's coating off with the food, or not. BUT, easy fix, I transfer the meal to a microwavable glass bowl while it's still Frozen (It pops out easy), cover with either a silicone lid or microwavable plastic wrap. Vent it at the edge, if directions say to vent before cooking it. Problem solved and no more worrying if I'm eating whatever those bowls are lined with.
This has become one of my favorite vegetarian meals. It's much better if you use an oven instead of a microwave. It's delicious and the texture is fresh, not at all mushy like some other brands I've tried. You get a good amount of food in one bowl. I usually can't finish all of it in one sitting and thankfully it still tastes great as leftovers.
I can't say enough good things about this brand. I wish the prices were a little lower as someone who loves to buy 4-5 of these at a time but these have amazing flavor i didnt even realize they were gluten free until years later. I'm a very picky frozen dinner eater and I rave about these
It is honestly just a perfectly satisfying amount of food for a quick lunch or dinner when you're in a hurry that actually tastes good. I feel like I sound like a commercial, but these Amy's meals have literally helped me get food in my system on days that I am so busy I would often forget to eat or genuinely not have time to.
Pleasantly surprised. Tasted fresh, not salty. I would have given 5 stars if the portion size was bigger. It would be nice if this came in a family size. Creamy too
My brother eats a Kosher diet and this is what he asked for. He likes a lot of the Amy's meals. He really likes all the different dishes that have Macaroni and cheese in them and the burritos and enchiladas. I wish there were more regular meals like the meatloaf dinner. Just so he can have a bigger variety of dishes to eat. I don't know if there just aren't any or if Walmart just doesn't carry them. I know when I order the meat loaf dinners a lot of times they are out.
This is a go-to meal for me- it's great on the go for work or a quick and easy meal at home. The only reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5 is that sometimes the pasta is a little tough even when following the cooking instructions. I think it may have to do with it being rice instead of wheat pasta but it's always delicious though! The cheese isn't that fake nacho cheese consistency stuff and the broccoli is tasty and not overcooked like it is in most frozen meals.
This was a substitute ,but the taste was very good. I have always loved Amys Foods, BUT will not buy again as I see that all of the products have increased to over SIX DOLLARS for each package. Good food but CERTAINLY not worth it!! ....actually SHAMEFUL for the company. I hope Walmart can find other companies with quality vegetarian foods that the normal customer can afford. Thank you.
The first time I had this meal and after, I found it amazingly delicious. I'm very finniky. My favorite food today, may be my least favorite tomorrow. My rating projects honesty, not a reflection on product quality or taste . Futurly, I may embarrass it again.
