Comparable to mom's homemade pea soup
My mom made everything from scratch. Especially soup. Her split pea soup was exceptional so when it comes to canned soup it's difficult to even come close to my mom's. Amy's is the exception. It is delicious. Texture just like mom's. The sodium I'd like lower as we are not salt users. On the whole I highly recommend this soup. It's worth the cost when you consider other soups on the market that are flat and over processed.

Delicious
I love the low sodium variety because you can always season how you want it and it hurts when you look at the back of a can and it's 60-70% of your sodium for the day and you worry about every other thing you eat. This tastes good, love it with some chicken and rice too

a little pricey but worth it
the sodium content was extremely low. the soup is a little bland..as most soups are..but with a little ( low sodium ) butter and cheese.. i will buy this again

Amy products are very good and much needed for people with allergies. Just try them out for yourself and see why i love them and keep buying them .

Nothing better than Split Pea Soup for dinner to keep hunger at bay! I sleep better all night, and it's healthy! Less Sodium!

Basil ruins the taste.
The basil in the soup is unnecessary. It does not work with the split peas. Thyme would be so much better. Or no seasoning so that one may add seasoning to their taste.
