Anastasia Beverly Hills Satin Lipstick - Soft Brown 0.1oz

Ipsy recommended this as an add-on to my box. I dont often wear lipstick, feeling unnatural in many colors. But, I thought I'd have better luck with any Ipsy recommendation and ... this is now my favorite new nude-ish lipstick. It's not matte and not super shiny, just a nice creamy bit of glow that makes my lips look a little bigger, more hydrated, and complements my coloring really well. It works great by itself or with a touch of gloss on top. And, I think it makes me look a little younger, dewier, and fresher. (I'm 49)

This color is sooo beautiful! It's like a baby pink but has a deepness at the same time so it's not overly bright. And I am obsessed with the matte formula. It glides on so smooth yet has great staying power and doesn't make your lips feel dry.

I love the packaging for this. There is a vanilla smell and I personally really enjoy it. The new shades are amazing. Love the matte formula. I have repurchased and have bought a back up!

The color is truly beautiful. The name describes the color exactly. It is a rich formula with a pretty satin finish on the lips. Would have given it a 5 if it lasted a little longer. Have to reapply often.

Thought it may be a little bit darker on the lips. I like the application and the creamy lip and will wear this but would like a little bit more color.

Ordered American Doll. I would not call this a classic red by any means. I was expecting a blue red and it's definitely more orange. Still a beautiful color though but not my go to. It goes on smooth but I did not like how it dried. My lips felt almost chapped.

I literally cannot STAND the perfume smell of this lipstick! It is SO STRONG! Like…. Ridiculously strong! And I've worked in cosmetics for 20ish years. It's a very artificial almost baby powder/slight floral scent that has no business on your mouth or in a lipstick at all. Ruins the lipstick for me. Other than that, this lipstick is just too middle-of-the-road for me in terms of finish. I prefer something either more matte with staying power, or if it's going to come off as easily as this product does, it should have a bit more shine to it. Also, the color chart online was misleading/inaccurate & the swatches were too hard to see to be helpful.

I LOVE the matte lipstick and was so excited to try this. But not for me. Does not apply well, color is more transparent, and made my lips dry funny -- making them crinkle. I am so bummed as I loved the colors. I bought 3 tubes. Wish the colors I bought came in matte.
