ANCEL BM700 OBD2 Scanner Code Reader EPB SAS Airbag TPMS Battery Automotive Car Diagnostic Tool fit for BMW/fit for Mini

This scanner is the best. I had a check engine light on. The scanner let me know that I was having trouble with my oxygen sensors. I ha e replaced both sensors and now my car runs perfectly fine. I would definitely recommend this scanner if you own a BMW or Mini Cooper.

Worked well although instructions left a lot to be desired.

Bought this because I had a srs warning light I had bought a blue tooth adapter and App not only did the app fail to reset the light but found no warnings at all. Plugged in the ancel and it found several fault codes including the srs and reset them all first time of asking . I'm very happy.

My son used this to reprogram the battery in my BMW. saved me the over 300 they wanted at the dealership. He's used this multiple times and said it will show codes that other readers don't show. It's paid for itself with him using it to do work for other people's cars

Replaced the battery of a 2016 Mini Cooper S which has to be registered with the car's computer. The Ancel bmw700 does that, among other things. Following the instructions exactly resulted in ""Battery registration successful..."" So, a minor investment saved a trip to the dealership, and the next battery replacement won't be as expensive.

I received this ANCEL BM700 BMW Full Diagnostic Tool about 10 days prior to this review. History: I bought my used BMW E46 for next to nothing with a rough idle knowing that vacuum leaks typically cause engine running issues. I found several areas where the system was losing vacuum and caused engine error codes; I fixed the leaks, changed spark plugs, coil packs, and replaced the CCVS with a proper replacement CCVS. I bought a cheap OBDII reader, cleared the engine codes, and after that the car ran OK, but the engine would throw codes on occasion (over the past 8 years), start rough when it was cold, and need spark pug replacement every 5-7K miles. Current: This past week, I used the ANCEL BM700 BMW Full Diagnostic Tool and saw all the codes that the car was storing that the cheap OBDII reader was not able to read...there were over 40 codes that the ANCEL BM700 saw that the cheep one did not read. I was able to assess the codes and I cleared them all. After erasing the codes, I started that car and it was awesome. I'm not sure what historic codes were making my car run rough and not able to start when cold, but it now starts and runs like a new BMW.

This is one of the best tools to have if you do your own maintenance work on your BMW. It will pay for itself the first time you have to reset a new battery in your BMW.

Item as advertised. Bought because my 2013 BMW 760Li throwing codes staying "drivetrain malfunction drive moderately). The unit purchased pin pointed issue No%2310 cylinder misfire yes it's a V12. Saved me potentially thousands. It's nice unit

The unit gives very limited to no actionable information, making any changes, the purpose of the scanner, limited at best.
