Before buying this product, I used Saran Wrap to cover my pie - not the greatest. This lid works well and since it can be made high, you can make a meringue topping and keep it protected. The pie plate is heavy duty and should last a long time and the fluted edge makes it attractive. I bought one for myself and was so pleased that I bought one for a friend and she also likes it.
Perfect for baking, storage or taking to a cookout. Large enough for fruit pies that tend to run over when baking. Great for storage of cream pies that require refrigeration. I love it.
It is big and heavy. I love it the color it is so nice, and such a good price. I do recommend you will love you baking.
