You can't go wrong with these. They are great sizes and they are glass so they are easy to clean. As a bonus they will replace anything that breaks with their five year guarantee. Just an observation, my opinion, Anchor Hocking brand has been around for years and years and I speculate that if these items broke all the time they would not be in business or they would take away their guarantee.
I wrapped the bakewear and a rice cooker. I included several recipe cards based on the various sizes of the bakeware and one for a rice dish that would use both. I personally have both...I love to cook. I believe that if you include your favorite recipe the present become more personalized. I realize that this is a hard feat to accomplish when you pick it from Bride's registry and have it shipped directly from company but you can always mail them some recipe cards. I have found that this helps the Bride and Groom...
This 11 piece set is amazing. So many of the pieces get put to use daily. One of the favorites are the 3 pinch bowls. We use them for everything. Measuring, for dips or condiments or ot just put a little treat for the kids in. The dishes are heavy duty but light weight. They are dish washer safe. I am very pleased with this set.
These Anchor Hocking bakeware sets are as good as Pyrex, they do cost less and work just well. These days folks need to keep their eyes open for good deals and make the Dollar stretch further than ever. Walmart also shipped this replacement set A.S.A.P. after the original set arrived at my door broken, GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE !
Purchased to cook jalapeño poppers for a 4th of July party. I spent over 30 minutes scooping the jalapeños I'm preparing them. Everything I had purchased to make these went down the drain because the glass shattered while I was baking at 380° and it's supposed to go up to 425°. Everything was ruined. Not only the glass dishes I bought to cook in, but all of the food was destroyed with glass in it.
I've had them less than a month and have used them many times, but tonight the large dish EXPLODED in my oven while cooking Jiffy CORNBREAD at 400°. Had I opened the door 2 seconds before, it could have exploded on me and done serious damage. I will never be buying these again.
Exploded in my oven on 400 degrees! glass shards all in my food! Guess pizza's for dinner now we had to trash everything 😭😭😭 i want a refund. really i want to sue the company.
I was unhappy with the purchase. At first , it was just the plastic lids on the set that wouldn't adhere to the glass , and I saw some other reviews saying the glass shattered on them, but I didn't believe it because there were also other good reviews. But later on like a month in, the same thing happened to me where I baked the glassware at a temperature that shouldn't crack it, and two of the pieces cracked. I was very upset I am only now left with three pieces
This is not for Seniors who cannot lift and carry heavy items as this glass set is just way to heavy to use and if you dropped it on your foot it would break a bone it is so heavy.
I wish I would've read the reviews. I ordered this Black Friday not even a month later tried to reheat leftovers on 450 not even 5 minutes later heard a big boom from upstairs. The glass had shattered in my oven. I've never experienced anything like this in my life I was shocked! They should mention this in the description. Only used it one time. Waste of money. Now what am I gonna eat! I attached a picture
