Anchor Hocking Glass Cracker Jar with Lid, 1 Gallon, Ideal Use for Kitchen Organization and Accessibility

I received this in perfect condition. The packaging was top notch. And the jars and lids are of excellent quality. I'm using for kitchen pantry dry goods, flour, sugar ect.. i ordered 4 of them and i think the price was decent. I recommend this product.

These 1 gallon glass jars are amazing, heavy weight, nice quality, comes with threaded lid, perfect to store snacks to keep fresh without the risks of plastic storage products. I bought four and will buy more of them. Perfect product for modern day concerns in storing snacks from chips to cereal.

The overall quality of this glass jar is excellent it's durable, sturdy, and clearly built to last. The lids are also very solid and fit securely, which help keep food fresh. I've purchased this item before and was so impressed that I came back for more, including the smaller version. The price makes it an even better deal, especially compared to other brands I've looked at. Many of them were overpriced and didn't come close to the quality of Anchor Hocking. I highly recommend these jars to anyone looking for reliable, well-made storage solutions.

I was fighting mice issues. these jars were perfect for my storage needs, baking needs and mouse proof. I might even buy more. I like the heavy glass anchor Hocking uses. The Anchor Hocking Brand has been a long time favorite in our Family! thank you and Merry Christmas!

I rated both the seal and the quality at four stars but that was a very tough rating on my part. Keeping in mind the great price and the fact that it is made in the USA makes this more like a six-star product. The top is not what I would call a heavy-duty twist top but it is more than good enough for what I am doing (making escabeche, or pickled carrots and jalapeños and, by the way, I'm an old guero) and for all of my storage needs. The top is leak proof but I probably would not call it hermetically-sealed, but it will store just about anything for some length of time. Again, the price is great, and it is made in America, and it was less in price at WalMart than at Amazon. I will purchase more in the future.

I'm happy to have made the purchase of the gallon size "cracker jars". The price is unbeatable; especially for two. They seal very well. Because they're gallon size, storage is a breeze. I'd consider this a "top shelf" purchase, so to speak, and a great item for your pantry.

I dont know if I got a bad one that was already chipped but I know for a fact that it has chipped even more since I bought it. Unfortunately, one of the chips in on the lip threads and so I have to be very careful unscrewing the lid. The lid is too narrow for a 1 c measuring cup but can fit a 1/2 c.

My beef was with the shipping and canceling of part of my order by the store with no notification to me. The packing of this product (glass jars for storing flour, sugar, etc) was questionable. I ordered 4 packs of 2 gallon jars in each pack. My first delivery was a single jar bubble wrapped in a large box where 2 jars would have fit easily. Then I waited and waited for the next delivery. It got stuck somewhere and I finally got word through the tracking system that it was canceled by the seller. Then I received my third delivery...a hand delivered well wrapped glass jar. I eventually received a total of 4 jars. I love the jars I did receive. I wish Walmart had a good inventory of these jars in the store!

I have always liked Anchor Hocking products, but not these. I bought the 2 pack and one is completely unuseable. As you can see in the picture, there is a good-sized glass bubble on the lip and the lid can not be screwed on at all. The lids for these jars are very cheap and I fear they won't last long. I returned the faulty jar and still debating about returning the second one because of the cheap lid.

These jars are terrible. They have sharp burrs on the opening as well as having a sharp edge around the opening. Many bubbles and defects in the glass. I purchased this exact brand and size 2 years ago and there were zero issues with those. These current ones are awful and dangerous for anyone reaching in or opening the lid. Anchor Hocking had gone terribly down hill in quality. I would not recommend this product and would caution against buying this product
