Animal Genius - Nintendo DS

My 5 year old son loves this game. On the scratch portion of it they give you a multiple choice question and I think it's helping with his reading skills because they highlight the word when they say it and then he goes back to push the right one--he's at least memorizing some of the animal names since he can't read yet. Good educational fun for him.

The kids love this game. My daughter got it since her cousin had it for her Leapster and they love it. We purchased it for a friend's birthday and found out she had it, however filled all the gueses and unable to play it anymore. She was very disapointed and very happy to see we got her one. I was very suprised once you fill up the guesses you can't reset the game and play it again. That is the ony disapointment otherwise very educational.

I got this without seeing any screenshots or user opinions, so I did not really know what to expect. I liked playing it, however is more for kids probably ages 9 and up, and pretty easy for adults. I did think it was very cute and there are quite a few different games on it including mazes and match the animal to its eyes/skin/baby. The point of the game is to earn points to win five animals that go into each habitat, ocean, desert, etc.
