Gift for my grandson and he was thrilled with it. He charged it immediately and was happy with the results
It's an awesome battery bank even though it's antiquated technology
I love this thing. I didn't expect it to take two days to charge completely but i understand why. Ive charged my phone, headlamp, earbuds, mini printer, qnd other people's phones multiple times and it hasn't wven poat a bar. It's worth the money and I'm cheap lol. It is pretty big though so you have to take that into account. I got my coworkers to buy their own, 10/10.
I bought two of these big power banks to take with me to the Grand Canyon for our whitewater rafting trip. I wanted to make sure they were within the allowed TSA amp hours limit and these are at 96.48 amp hours each. I used one power bank every evening, for 6 evenings, to charge up my Apple Watch and iPhone. I didn't even need to purchase two of them. I still had 1/4 the power left on the power bank when we got back to our hotel after being away from civilization for a week. Great product. TSA compliant.
I just received the Anker power core 26800. It came with 50% charged. It took me about 6 to 8 hours to charge 100%. Im pleased to have it in case of emergency. I used my sons during the freeze therefore I decided to buy this one that had more hours to charge not just one but several devices plus iPhones and androids. Thats exactly what we need. The price was great.
Battery last multiple days in cold.
So it has a different charging method than I expected. In order to charge you use two included charging cords. This means you need 2 open USB hubs available, next to each other and the cords are very short. That's the bad news. Otherwise it works great. It is really a powerhouse for so many devices. I'm spoiled by how many charges you can get out of it and now my other batteries are just not enough and I'm reaching for this one all of the time. Obviously, you could spend money and get longer cords for the charging issue. Overall, I highly recommend getting this.
what i did not like about the anker power core portable charger,it was to big for international travel
maybe it's my fault that i missed this detail. i love that it's big and holds a lot of juice and dont mind that it takes awhile to charge it up. it's the WAY it's charged. It has 2 slots for MICRO USB. You can use just one so it will take longer and they do give you 2 micro usb cables that are a decent length, but that also requires 2 ac adapters to plug into nearby. So ill be returning it asap without even using it because i dont want to carry those two cables plus old school ac adapters and with no pouch to put it in. Then on top of that i need a usbc cable to charge my phone.
The ancient ports to charged it obliged me to buy a 40 dollar cable plus a charger that can handle the task.
