ANKER eufy Security Smart Lock Touch and Wi-Fi Fingerprint Scanner, Keyless Entry Door Lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been wanting a lock for my door that I didn't need a physical key to open. The Eufy smart lock is exactly what I had in mind. It has an app that you need to install, then you can set up a fingerprint and a code to open the lock. You do get multiple physical keys that you can also use. I typically use the app to open the lock when I'm coming home from work so I can just open the door when I get there. The battery that comes with the unit needs charged, and does come with a compatible charger. I have had no trouble with the battery. If it needs charged soon, I plan on doing that overnight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this lock! First, the install was incredibly easy and quick. It took my husband less than 30 minutes, and that includes the time for him to read the entire manual. It's really easy to add fingerprints to the system as well. I love that my son can get in and out without worrying about leaving the door unlocked or losing a key. A great feature is the auto lock timer. You set a time you want the door to automatically lock, in case you do leave it open during the day. It gives me peace of mind knowing the lock just takes care of itself. Now we just need to upgrade our front door to look as nice as the lock does.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took about 30 minutes total to remove my old deadbolt, install the eufy, and configure the app. Not bad! We got this lock so that if we got locked out we could use the pin code or fingerprint scanner to get in. It certainly does both of those well. I also feel futuristic and cool right now.

I have no had any issues using it and recommend it to anyone that wants to get in their house quick! If my husband can install this then you definitely can he has no electrical experience and you don't either!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros 1. Touch based smart lock so you don't need a key. Fingerprint is sufficient. 2. You can also unlock using regular key or keypad 3. Auto-lock when the door is closed - this is a useful feature. 4. Fingerprint data is stored locally and not on the cloud 5. Looks really good. Cons 1. I don't know if the auto-lock can be turned ON/OFF. Haven't figured that out yet. 2. Unable to connect to Alexa/Google Assistant. 3. Lock needs wifi adapter to work with wifi, else you need to be within bluetooth range to be able to unlock from the phone. Overall rating 5/5

I love that if I'm doing something around the house or even in the back patio I can simply log in into my phone to lock or unlock the house. I added four different codes for everyone in the house and it's just great. I like that it has the code as a back up. Also the installation was so easy, simple and fast along with setting up the app, It's simple amazing I recommend it!

I am a big supporter in advanced technology, and this is definitely one of those that makes my house feel secure at night and we are away. It was extremely easy for my husband to set up and just as easy to set up the Wi-Fi for it.

It is BHMA certified. ("Builders Hardware Manufacturers Association (BHMA®) is the only organization accredited by the America National Standards Institute (ANSI) to develop and maintain performance standards for locks, closers, exit devices and other builders hardware." Its black box design has a sleek, modern look and it was fairly easy to set up and install following the directions. So far, it works as advertised.
