Not sure how it charges or powers. Sometimes the buttons work when trying to turn on. It does have hear and a vibrating feature that you can change the pattern. I use this when watching TV for my ankle which is now healed but was broken at one time. Honestly great price for what it does, wish it worked 100%.
I find this another item combined with exercises to strengthen ankle and proper shoes it helps to relieve pain. The portability is nice and can use in evening before bed.
I've been wanting to buy a set of ease, however I thought they were kind of expensive, but I saw them on the Walmart app and they were cheaper so I thought I'd buy them. I was very pleased with the purchase as they were just like the more expensive ones and I think they were the same quality. When I tried them, I could feel the pulsing going up my legs and the heat surrounding my ankles, and it was very soothing. I feel like my circulation is improving. Overall, my feet feel better.
It helps with my neuropathy pain.

The manual for this cordless ankle heating pad (model CL-2888) is nearly useless — it just repeats the same battery capacity and temperature/humidity specs in 18 different languages, with no actual guidance on how to operate the buttons or settings. I had to guess how to turn it on and cycle through modes.
It makes a lot of noise, and it didn't massage the pain on my ankle.
it gets warm on one side only, and vibrates. it doesn't massage.
For me the massage was difficult to get to correct setting. Felt no heat whatsoever
