The pans are excellent. Food cooks easily and doesn't stick and pans actualy do just wipe clean. One negative comment on packaging though. The pans come with a 'sticker' on the inside center of the bottom of the pan about 2" around. I had to soak the pans overnight and then scrape the sticker glue off the pan with my fingernails. It took about 10 minutes per pan to get the glue off! Not good!
These are quality fry pans. I purchased Anolon pots and pans 10 years ago and LOVE them. They’re durable, the non-stick surface lasts through repeated use and they look good hanging on my pot rack. I finally had to replace my frypans and went right back to the same.
I bought these after reading a lot of reviews and to see the bundle was a great add. and since having used them they live up to the hype so far, i am a cast iron loyalist but am now using these as well. I will only add that the card board ring in between the two pans for packaging and shipping - storage, left a ring at the bottom of the big pan. i washed it well but did not want to scrub it off so you can see a bit of the residue from the cardboard. i have not seen a difference or tasted any thing odd from the issue though. Be careful with the handle as user error if you hold the or grab the handle too close to the pan and touch the metel between the grip and the pan it is very hot, that is my mistake.
My daughter discovered these about four years ago and she went on to buy an entire Anolon set of pots and pans. I bought the ten and twelve inch set three years ago and couldn’t be happier with their performance. I just purchased a set for a friend and she loves them too. Best pans I’ve ever used!
I had no idea that stepping up my frying pans would make such a difference. I cannot find words to say how much I love these pans. Super easy clean up and the best crepes I’ve ever made because you can slide the batter around. 10 out of 10! Highly recommend!
This two pack skillet set is perfect for my family. Because we make it a habit sit down to dinner every night, we cook. We have been needing to replace our non stick skillets for some time but found it hard to make a decision. When the non stick surface of our old Calphalon pans started to fray, we just ignored it. Big mistake! After reading about the health issues, I decided it was time. These pans are great for us, since we cook a lot. Sometimes my older daughters are with us and the size of the meal goes from three or four people to five or six. The two set skillets are the right size to accomodate changing sizes of dinner goers. Also, the handles are perfect for us. I did not like having handles that heat up with the Calphalon set I had. I am not a gourmet chef and every now and then I would forget to grab a towel to pick up the pan. Frowny face!
We bought some TV-advertised skillets about 9 months ago: the granite finish was not what it was cracked up to be. Chips in the finish and eggs stuck. The Anolon skillets haven't disappointed me yet. and I didn't feel guilty over the price I paid. These are my "go-to" skillets. AND, the handles don't burn my hands!
I have tried many many many other so called non stick pans over the past 40 years. And having only had these a few weeks I will say that they seem to be of good quality and are a pleasure to cook with. Will update later on when I see how well they hold up.
Ordered these to replace a 10" skillet that we got 14 years ago that got the bottom covered from too many years of fried-on hotdog/sausage juice (and henceforth is reserved _only_ for such things). These are a little lighter-weight, but still seem to be good quality. Now we have nice new pans that the eggs & other things don't stick to.
We love the pans and are happy with our purchase overall; however, we just noticed this week that the larger pan is dented or warped; out of round. We went to use a lid on it, which didn't quite fit right, and with that in mind, we could see it wasn't shaped the way it should be. We recall upon receiving the package that the packaging had been damaged and was rather flimsy and the pans inside had no cushioning.
