I bought the 8.5 Analon X pan it's the best size for me.. And I am in Love ..this pan is Awesome..don't even need oii..but do make sure your oven is balanced it makes a difference..especially if you rent or are using your appliances for the first time.. But I love what I bought..just might buy a bigger one..???
We have used Anolon cookware, exclusively, for well over 10 years . . . We have appreciated, daily, its quality, durability, and functionality . . . The replacement 8.5-inch French skillet we recently purchased maintains the standards we expect from Anolon . . .
I purchased three sizes of Advanced Home skillets because of the EXCELLENT review they got from Consumer Reports. I am very pleased with the quality of construction and the way eggs just slide from the surface. I am impressed with the warranty, as it shows Analon stands behind the products they sell. I plan to purchase more Analon products!
What a excellent pan for almost anything. The shape makes it amazing for me to flip the contents. The coating has worked as described and the color is beautiful. I love the balance and the handle. I was worried the handle would have a lot of heat travel because of the shape. But nope, cool as can be.
This pan is stellar! Cooking an omelet for 2 the other day and you barely need any utensil or spatula at all, it's incredibly non-stick. And the bronze color is gorgeous, I wish I had known it was available when I bought the 8" gray frying pan - although that color is fine too. Love this pan!
PERFECT ...FOR A LACK OF A BETTER WORD....BOUGHT THE SET A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO...NO SCRATCHES ,NO FADING...VERY STURDY WITH NICE WEIGHT AND CRAFTSMAN SHIP...IDEAL FOR LONGEVITY....JUST DON'T LET THE GRAND CHILDREN COOK HOT DOGS WHILE CARTOONS ARE ON !!!!! ......BOUGHT THIS 10" FRENCH TO REPLACE THE HOT DOG PALOOZA MISHAP....THE GREY MATCH DEAD ON SPOT.... WELL DONE.....THANK YOU ANOLON
I have used a set of Anolon cookware for the last 15 years. The 9 inch frying pan receiving the most use and while still functional I decided to see if I could replace it and maintain the appearance of a matched set. Glad to be able to do this as I have found Anolon to surpass all my needs.
I bought two Analon frying pans. I also have other Analon pots and pans. They are not too heavy, nothing seems to stick and they look great. These were replacement pans for me. The last ones lasted years and years and I finally replaced them when they looked a little scratched. Perhaps other pans will never scratch but those types are intolerably heavy. I have nothing but good things to say about Analon. Also the same high marks for Analon pots with clear lids.
I already had cookware from Analon for many years, but my small skillet was getting worn and some of the none-stick had peeled away. I replaced it with the newer Anolon small skillet and the quality has definitely improved a lot! It is also guarantied for life, which the old ones were not. It is heavier than my old one and fantastic quality. I love it! I may replace my other skillet and stir fry large skillet when they will need to be replaced.
I bought this pan to replace a well worn one of the same size. Upon receiving and opening the pan I see the top rim is much larger that the lower part of the pan. I was hoping to use this for pancakes and french toast. Turns out to be too small for either. I'm still using the old pan.
