What a value this 2-pack of pans was! Have used them a fewtimes and they have been great for egg dishes without sticking. I love that i can use metal or plastic utensils. I don't mind washing these by hand to keep them in good form. What a relief to have nonstick pans without the worry of nasty chemicals leeching into the food!
These pans are excellent quality. They are heavier than I expected but that's a benefit. I like the high sides and so far, nothing has stuck to them! I did read the instructions that came with them so that I knew for sure how to use and care for them. I also like the color. Definitely recommend.
We bought some TV-advertised skillets about 9 months ago: the granite finish was not what it was cracked up to be. Chips in the finish and eggs stuck. The Anolon skillets haven't disappointed me yet. and I didn't feel guilty over the price I paid. These are my "go-to" skillets. AND, the handles don't burn my hands!
I have tried many many many other so called non stick pans over the past 40 years. And having only had these a few weeks I will say that they seem to be of good quality and are a pleasure to cook with. Will update later on when I see how well they hold up.
I bought these after reading a lot of reviews and to see the bundle was a great add. and since having used them they live up to the hype so far, i am a cast iron loyalist but am now using these as well. I will only add that the card board ring in between the two pans for packaging and shipping - storage, left a ring at the bottom of the big pan. i washed it well but did not want to scrub it off so you can see a bit of the residue from the cardboard. i have not seen a difference or tasted any thing odd from the issue though. Be careful with the handle as user error if you hold the or grab the handle too close to the pan and touch the metel between the grip and the pan it is very hot, that is my mistake.
Ordered these to replace a 10" skillet that we got 14 years ago that got the bottom covered from too many years of fried-on hotdog/sausage juice (and henceforth is reserved _only_ for such things). These are a little lighter-weight, but still seem to be good quality. Now we have nice new pans that the eggs & other things don't stick to.
I bought these pans after I went through a slew of other more expensive non stick and stainless steel pans. I am not the greatest cook - and don't enjoy scrubbing pans either. These pans have never had any problems with sticking and are SO EASY to clean. The food comes out tasting great. I make steaks and eggs in them often and they are surviving my cooking like champs. The price is also unbeatable for the quality.
They seem good so far. The only issue is there was a small bubble in non stick coating on the small pan. In defense of Analon, I never contacted them to see if I could exchange, since it was not worth the hassle for me. Just expected a little better quality control, since this would be a point of failure in the pan.
I previously bought the frying pan set, which I loved. Then I decided to give AnolonX an opportunity. Well, what a disappointment. The AnolonX is horrible. Everything sticks. I tried low heat, no oil, oil, and the technique from their suggested use. And nothing. Also, the price was way much higher. I don't like it.
I will be contacting the company about their defective product. I am beyond disappointed after reading many outside reviews recommended the non stick set. Both pans within just a few uses stopped being non stick. We used no spray, low heat, and no abrasives. Waste of time and money.
