I originally bought the saucier, having never used one before. Greatest thing since sliced bread. And it was on an incredible special as well so I was chuffed. Then this Saute and saucier came up as a twofer special so I jumped at it. The saucier is lighter than I imagined yet the Saute is slightly heavier. I have arthritis and have had surgeries on both hands but am able to handle these two easily enough. I tried cast iron cookware and just can’t handle it safely as it’s too heavy. I do appreciate I got very lucky to buy three absolutely brilliant pieces of cookware at an unbelievable price. I’m having a blast cooking up a storm, the husband thinks it’s great as well and I finally got the courage to try making risotto and the saucier is what makes it absolutely perfect. These pieces are fantastic. Highly recommend them.
I saw a recommendation in someone else's review that you should read all the instructions and watch all the available videos that explain the proper use of this cookware. I whole heatedly agree. The results are beautifully seared meats and quick easy cleanup. Take the time to learn before you cook with them. You'll be glad you did!
These pans are great for keeping in oil in the center! I was soo tired o rolling my pans back and forth to get oil in the center or use way more that I needed! This pan is soo easy to clean & cooks anything. Browning sausage, steak etc, there’s nothing like it! I’m buying the crepe & 12” next! TY
I bought this pan 1 mo. ago, not expecting anything incredible. But I was so pleasantly surprised! Oil stays in the middle. Pan is thick enough to cook correctly, not to mention it is PERFECTLY FLAT ! I love the long handle and the well designed lid. Quality construction. Steak and fish cook so incredibly even, with the grill pattern. Why did I have to be 76 yrs old to discover the pan of my dreams?
First attempt at cooking was a disaster, food really stuck. I have electric range so I have learned it really takes a long time to heat up ,and that has helped, I love that oil stays in middle of pan, not in love but like it fine not sure if I’m gonna buy the 12 in pan
First blush, I expected more. I will have to use it more before I pass final judgement. Cleanup is more of a job than I like. For a non-stick pan, plenty sticks. I didn’t want a pan that requires that I add fat & calories to everything I prepare in it.
Would not purchase again. Pan has nice heft to it and heavy bottom for even heat. BUT, even with oil in the pan the cross pattern in the bottom caused sticking. Instructions say not to use high heat but on subsequent uses it was less sticky when high heat was used. Don't try to cook eggs or breaded fish in these pans--it'll make a mess. Seriously, pass on these pans and get something else.
I did not like these frying pans. I have a Wolf induction cooktop and love it. The frying pans are very slow to heat up. The food stuck. I tried both pans with2 different things. I made eggs in the smaller frying pan. I also tried to cook something in the larger frying pan...stuck to the bottom also. Thse pans stuck more than cast iron. I would not buy again or recommend.
I researched and purchased these non stick pans and they are terrible. I cooked an omelet over medium heat and it stuck to the pan and it fell apart. After washing, the egg was stuck in the silver grooves and I cannot get the egg out. I want to return them and get my money back
After purchasing & using these fry pans, and knowing what i know now, i wouldn't have purchased these pans. It's my personal opinion they are very heavy, handles get hot and the food gets stuck in the triangles which are not smooth to the touch. The marketing of the triangle inner bottom is a cooking gimmick. I had two previous sets of Anolon cookware which were very very good, but these are junk and priced way to high, another gimmick....Also, they will not accept returns or exchanges. Another poor issue.
