[Employee of anolon-au] Very good nonstick pot and at a very very good price good for gifts for friends and family
We are foodies and cook a lot. After using the new Hybrid Nonstick Frying pans we were incredibly surprised at the sturdiness, ease of use, even cooking surfaces, and lastly the ease of clean up! Wow! Congrats Analon - you moved the needle to an even higher category!
I purchased this set as a gift because I have a similar set that is awesome! This set also did not disappoint; they are high quality, sturdy skillets that are the best non stick skillets I have ever used! They have nice flat, smooth bottoms that are safe to use on any cooktop, even an induction range. In addition, they are attractive cookware, easy to clean, and the inside handle rivets are also flat which adds to ease in cleaning.
I purchased these sauté pans at the urging of my husband and I am so glad I did. They are everything they are advertised to be. The one thing I never bargained on, however, was that they don’t splatter much! What a plus. They sear so well, fry an egg splendidly and veggies are a dream. I just ordered the 12.5” and hope it will be just as good. You will not be disappointed.
Better than before! The new pans heat evenly due to the stainless base plate. The stainless web browns quite well. I had the normal pans for over 15 years and expect these frying pans to last as well. No metal utensils/no cooking spray/no leaving the pan alone to burn.
So far we are quite satisfied with our frying pans. They work well for fried eggs and bacon. When we tried scrambled eggs using the technique we have been using for years we had problems with eggs sticking and leaving residue. We found that poring the egg mixture into the heated pan with hot oil allowed us to make an omelet without any sticking. Thus we are still learning how to use the pans successfully. Caramelizing vegetables like onions works quite well. It would have been nice to have more detailed information on how to use the pans successfully for many different foods, but we are developing our own techniques.
Very sturdy and well made cooking pot. However it is quite heavy. The handle is very hot and there are no options for a bigger size pot for cooking larger quantities.
Though the 8.25" would be my new egg pan. Unfortunately, these pans are not quite as non-stick as advertised. Scrambled eggs stick to them like there's no tomorrow. I still haven't tried searing fish in the 10", so I can't yet comment on that. But I still have to now go and pick up a small non-stick pan.
I bought the 10" and the 8" combo frying pans a few weeks ago, it sears a ribeye steak nicely as well my burgers came out with crispy edges and deliciously juicy inside. But the reason I purchased the pans was to fry eggs in the morning for my 3 kids and myself. The downside is that the eggs got stuck on the bottom of the pan while fry them. You can't make over easy and if it's sunny side up eggs you will need to crisp the bottom in order to remove them. I don't mind crispy on the bottom of my eggs but if you need to flip the eggs over for over medium eggs then you will need to crisp them again to remove the egg without breaking apart. Very disappointed for the price. I'm looking to purchase a nonstick pan elsewhere just for eggs.
I purchased and ordered 2 frying pans 30DEC2022. When ordering I was given an estimated delivery date of between 7 and 10 JAN. The order shipped 18JAN2023. I left town 11JAN2023 and will return 12FEB. I will not be able to access them before then. I am disappointed it took so long to ship. I reserve judgement util I actually use them.
