I originally bought the saucier, having never used one before. Greatest thing since sliced bread. And it was on an incredible special as well so I was chuffed. Then this Saute and saucier came up as a twofer special so I jumped at it. The saucier is lighter than I imagined yet the Saute is slightly heavier. I have arthritis and have had surgeries on both hands but am able to handle these two easily enough. I tried cast iron cookware and just can’t handle it safely as it’s too heavy. I do appreciate I got very lucky to buy three absolutely brilliant pieces of cookware at an unbelievable price. I’m having a blast cooking up a storm, the husband thinks it’s great as well and I finally got the courage to try making risotto and the saucier is what makes it absolutely perfect. These pieces are fantastic. Highly recommend them.
Very happy with my purchase, from stir fry, make soups, cook rice, make stew and of course deep frying. I use induction cooktop and it works perfectly, the pan also easy to clean.
Nifty, neat well weighted pan with glass lid. Performing well on induction hub, good food banking g and easy to clean.
We are foodies and cook a lot. After using the new Hybrid Nonstick Frying pans we were incredibly surprised at the sturdiness, ease of use, even cooking surfaces, and lastly the ease of clean up! Wow! Congrats Analon - you moved the needle to an even higher category!
I purchased this set as a gift because I have a similar set that is awesome! This set also did not disappoint; they are high quality, sturdy skillets that are the best non stick skillets I have ever used! They have nice flat, smooth bottoms that are safe to use on any cooktop, even an induction range. In addition, they are attractive cookware, easy to clean, and the inside handle rivets are also flat which adds to ease in cleaning.
I purchased the 8.25 & 10 inch pans especially for searing steaks after hot-bath cooking. Although I have not had the chance to try them out, I did use the smaller pan to reheat some quesadillas whose outer shell had become soft and soggy. Very excited they became crispy once again and the inside cheese melted without burning the shells...and the cheese that ran out and appeared to be stuck in the little "grates" peeled right off. Can't wait to try steaks during the holidays!
I used one of my new skillets for the first time tonight, and I am totally impressed. It put a nice sear on my cubed steaks, and nothing stuck to the pan. I was able to turn them using only a fork, and that has never happened with my other pans. These do exactly as they are advertised, and I plan to get more in the future. They are worth every cent.
I think they are acceptable, they are not exactly what I thought they would be or at least what they are advertised to be. I think the fact that they don't scratch is the major thing but food does still stick to the tiny metal edges in there. But overall I will purchase more I just wish the advertising would be more truthful about the food sticking.
I am very impressed with the look and design of the pans. For a nonstick the food does tend to stick to the bottom to the mesh surface. I have several nonstick pans and they do work but the nonstick surface tends to separate after time. I thought this was the answer but I am disappointed with the food sticking.
I bought the 10" and the 8" combo frying pans a few weeks ago, it sears a ribeye steak nicely as well my burgers came out with crispy edges and deliciously juicy inside. But the reason I purchased the pans was to fry eggs in the morning for my 3 kids and myself. The downside is that the eggs got stuck on the bottom of the pan while fry them. You can't make over easy and if it's sunny side up eggs you will need to crisp the bottom in order to remove them. I don't mind crispy on the bottom of my eggs but if you need to flip the eggs over for over medium eggs then you will need to crisp them again to remove the egg without breaking apart. Very disappointed for the price. I'm looking to purchase a nonstick pan elsewhere just for eggs.
