Item is just as described. Item was damaged in shipment and a few parts didnt make it. I contacted the company for more information and replacement parts. They shipped a new live trap.

got it in three days had to use extra clamps but work's perfect have got possums and Coons so far raccoon destroyed the trigger but that's normal in all of my other traps I have used for them no safety plates for your hands so be careful when holding or re-releasing the animal sometimes raccoons will run back at you after they leave the trap.

I've been using this trap for two years now and I'm fed up with it after falling apart again. The clamps they use to hold pieces together don't stay and I've had to resort to zip ties to hold the door on. The whole design of the trap is flawed. I got a few good uses out of it before a large racoon bent the trigger plate and the rod that closes the door. I've had to bend it and finagle it back together every time since after catching an animal. They keep pulling the rod out of the hole of the trigger plate and it's a huge pain to get it back in again. Even small opossums manage this. The last time was the last time and I just left it out in the woods behind my house in pieces. Meanwhile the superior design on my dad's old Havahart trap, which they for some reason only use for their small traps now, is still going strong after decades of use.
