We used these to test the effectiveness of various antiseptics. They worked very well.
We used this product to test acne medicine in E.coli via disc diffusion method. These discs were okay but there was a lot of static and we could not get them out of the bottle easily. We ended up having to pour out the whole bottle onto a sterile plate so we could get them separated.
There were plenty of sterile disks in the bottle, and they worked to meet my needs for my 7th grade science fair project. Great product!
The disks are exactly as the picture shows, and are not treated with antibiotic, which I could not find anywhere else on the web! They are tiny and a little hard to dispense singly from the small vial without a dispenser, and seem a little pricey, but a quality product regardless. Worked perfectly for my daughter's experiment.
Got it fast, and it was exactly what I needed for a fun experiment. Just wish it were possible to purchase less disks.
We got a bacteria to do a school science fair project, We finish it perfectly. Arrive on time, packages was safe and secure. Thanks
Carolina has always provided me with expedient, great service. Their prices are also very reasonable and carry quality products
The blank sensitivity disks were excellent to use. I could not find blank ones elsewhere. (only antibacterial which wouldn't work for my project) The initial price high, and the shipping and handling was almost twice as much as the product. The disks worked great, but it wasn't worth the price.
These were used to test different household cleaners on bacteria. Two drops of each cleaner was put on its own disk and placed on an agar plate to measure zone of inhibition. This was a perfect number of disks for the experiment. No problems.
