The very soft and slightly stretchy (but not clingy) fabric is extremely comfortable. I would consider it a mid weight fabric. It's perfect for me for layering on fall days in the Northeast. I ordered several colors and will say that the Wine and the Blue ones are brighter in person than on the laptop. The others (shades of brown and tan) are pretty spot on for color.
