This is holding up my 45 lb Roland keyboard nicely. The instructions to assemble are a little minimalist however there are not that many pieces so it is not to hard to figure out. The metal also felt a little greasy however maybe that protects the metal from rust.

I got this one for a grandson that is showing musical talent. He needed a stand for a keyboard and this was like the one my wife uses. Both stands are sturdy enough to do the job.

Love it. Adjusts easily and quickly to fit most keyboards - my Yamaha beginners' KB especially. I can recommend this without hesitation. Price is decent too. JS.

I had to disassemble the parts that were already disassembled for shipping. If the parts are assembled as is, per the instructions; it is not satisfactory. So, take some of the legs and foot stands apart. Reassemble it so that the leg in the back of the ‘X' has the longest end of the foot tube towards you (to accommodate the extra distance needed for the leg in the back of the ‘X.' You also have to remove a rubber end pieces to replace the holding straps in the correct equal ends. Then twist the off center rubber end pieces to make all level. This stand works well for a lightweight portable 61-key keyboard. Mine is a Casio Casiotone CT-S500 with strap attachments on the bottom front ends. Once all assembled, I like it. The hight adjustment mechanism works well. The price was great!

The product is quite nice. BUT ... The rubber parts have a toxic, gaseous smell that is horrible. I am currently soaking them in various strong solutions, hoping to get rid of that smell. It's too bad, because other than that, I love this stand. It is very lightweight, well designed, stable, and portable. Right now, I am hoping for the best.

Very disappointed with this item. I don't like items i have to assemble that come with no instructions. The video here is not as simple as what was sent to me. The bars did not line up for one of my bottom pieces and took forever to get the screw jammed in there so I could get it screwed on. The worst part is the adjustable lever piece wasn't attached at all and i have no idea where that's supposed to go. Am I supposed to remove the middle screw completely to add in the adjustable round dial thing that adjustable the height of the stand? I have no idea because it was supposed to be attached already and it wasn't. I don't see a way to remove the screw that's holding the two pieces together for the stand itself. Then there's this stiff jagged piece that I have no idea what i'm m supposed to do with and the video doesn't show what to do with either. And whatever handle they are showing in the other pictures I don't have that at all. If i can't figure this out O may return it altogether.

I thought this was a universal stand. I was wrong. After assembling it per the instructions and setting the keyboard on top, if didn't seem like it fit. It was not sturdy and didn't feel secure - it felt as though the keyboard would slip off at any moment. Any time anyone played the keyboard, it would gradually slip further and become unsteady and wonky. I messed with it and made it work, specifically with zip-ties. But that is definitely not in the instructions. If you are looking for the most basic stand, this is it. But you will almost certainly have to mess with it to get it to work for you.

THEY SENT THE WRONG ORDER. I HAD TO KEEP IT BECAUSE IT WAS A GIFT FOR MY NEPHEW. THE TIME OF THE EVENT DID NOT ALLOW ME TO RETURN IT.

The assembly instructions are not explicit enough. I got the stand together, but it won't stand by itself. I used the online help to try to get better instructions. They ended up telling me they will have to go to the manufacturer to get better instructions. I would return it, but I need a keyboard stand and if I get a different one I am afraid I'll run into the same problem. I am a woman and very mechanically inclined (grew up a Daddy's girl). I am going to take it apart and try again. Maybe I'll see something that was not initially apparent.

got the item as a christmas gift for my grandson. got the box. it was ripped open and then taped up. the only thing in the box were two metal legs and nothing else.
