I know it says 2 years and up but I always give this with 2 personalized pillows (off Etsy for around $10 each) for a first birthday gift. My 1.5 year old and 3.5 year old can not live without these. Neither use an adult size pillow (which is not good for their necks). I've bought a ton of these and was THRILLED to see Walmart is now carrying them since Babies R' Us/Toys R' Us no longer does (and it is half the price here). NOTE: you can put in the washing machine but do NOT put in the dryer (or it will turn into a hard/flat pancake). I love this pillow! It is so snuggly and soft. My little boy (he's 23 months) absolutely loves it. It's the perfect size for him. I wish I could find a little bit bigger sizes for my two older kids. (The adult sizes are just to big and expensive for their age). Yes this was a little pricey for a baby pillow, but it has been the only option I have seen that wasn't some animal shaped pillow, and even so cost the same amount. Would definitely recommend this product!

This pillow was recommended to me by a friend and I am 100% satisfied with it! My daughter now has a pillow that fits her small 20 month body instead of a pillow that is made for adults. Since buying the pillow, she sleep more soundly at night which every parent wants. The overall quality is fantastic for the price. I highly recommend it.

Great size, great quality. Soft, easy to care for. Works great for my kids ages 2 & 6. I actually find it more comfortable than a regular pillow for myself! We now own 4 and always take them when we travel!

As soon as i got this pillow my 2 yr old wanted to go to bed thats how comfy it is. I wasnt sure if hed use it but he does and seems very pleased with it. Its definately worth the price and more.

This is the first pillow for my 2 year old and she loves it! The cover is very soft and the pillow is the perfect size for her crib bed. The memory foam is high quality and the contour is very slight so it is almost a flat pillow.

The only problem is that Walmart has no reasonable priced pillow cases for this size pillow. I did, however, find them at Buy Buy Baby for a very reasonable price. $9.99 for a set of two.

This is a great first pillow for a toddler. It's much smaller than a twin sized pillow - really just the right size for a toddler's smaller head/neck size. It is a high-quality pillow, so even though I thought the price was a bit high, it really is worth it. A couple negatives - first is that twin-sized pillow cases are WAY too big for this pillow. It does come with a soft protective cover, but not a pillow case. If you know how to sew though, it's really easy to make a few pillow cases for it, which is what I did. I did find some toddler pillowcases that you could buy online, but I wasn't sure if they would fit this pillow right or not. And since they were quite expensive, it was definitely worth it to me to make my own pillow cases. The bigger negative in my mind, however, is that the pillow stinks when you get it! The directions recommend air-fluffing the pillow in the dryer with a dryer sheet for 20-30 minutes. I have done this twice with a slight decrease in the stink. I used a scent-free dryer sheet though, so maybe the results would be better if the sheet was scented. I will say that since getting it 2 weeks ago, the bad odor has gradually diminished, and I am fairly confident that eventually the smell will go completely away. The smell hasn't seemed to bother my toddler though...it would drive me crazy, but as long as he's happy, I'm happy! Overall, I would recommend this pillow. It is the perfect size for my 2 1/2 year old, and he seems to like it. It's a very high-quality pillow and comes with a nice cover. Once the smell goes away, I will be completely satisfied!

I bought this for my 18 month old son. He was not used to it in the beginning but after a couple of days he sleeps like a baby. The pillow is very soft. The only cons is the pillow case cost the same price as the pillow. Good thing my mom knows how to sew she can make multiples pillow case cover. Overall great product.

The pillow is much smaller than I expected.... but I guess that is because it is for a toddler. However, my son still prefers mommy's old pillow. The memory foam pillow is nice in terms of quality. It's just that my son has yet to really use it, so I feel like I really didn't need it. It is a nice idea though.
