this is a beautiful and high quality 'tile'. we used this as a quick (but permanent enough...) fix when we were replacing a wall-mounted faucet. i knew we would have to break the wall open to replace the faucet and that, that would be a laborious and slightly complicated mess. but i also knew we had to get everything back in working order and covered up by the end of the way. we had an acrylic backsplash on the wall, and i knew that once we put the new faucet in, we would have to re-drill holes in that backsplash for the new faucet and their positioning. but obviously, we didn't want the old holes to show, and we also didn't want the wall which now had a hole to show. i knew that if we covered the backsplash with this flexible vinyl tile, we could then cut the new faucet holes in the backsplash, and the tile / recovered backsplash could mask the new opening in wall. well, it did just that! and nicely. it took us about 5 hours to actually replace the faucet (break through wall, cut pipes / connection of old faucet, solder new pipes and valve for new faucet in place, etc...). but then putting the backsplash back -- we pre-covered it with smart tile, which took an hour of some careful cutting, positioning etc -- and cutting new holes in it and through the smart tiles was quick, about half an hour. so, the whole smart-tiles involved aspect was only about 90 minutes, tho carefully planned haha. anyway i knew the tiles would work well, be able to be installed quickly, and that once it was actually up, it would look great and function well. and that's exactly what it does! once again, i see it is a highly useful, versatile and durable product. highly recommended.

i had a small studio space that needed a stylish and inexpensive update. a few years of wear and tear had started taking their toll on surfaces that previously looked good. i stumbled upon smart tiles, and was definitely intrigued. when i received them and took them out of the box, my first reaction was wow-- these are pretty! they definitely had a nice and intriguing finish. i mean i know they are vinyl- but they really do look like tile and they had an interesting mixed feel to them (i.e., their dual finish). . . i used this as a small back splash for a sink area, where had previously had polished concrete. once, years ago the concrete looked cool and modern but now it just looked dark and no longer so great! i also used it as a new backsplash for a bathroom sink area. . . total installation time took a few hours, but application was relatively simple. we were just going slowly and carefully, to get precise and straight lines. we also ordered the edging, which i think is a must for a fully clean and polished look. . . for the cost, and the careful but not extensive effort involved in application, i so far think these tiles are great! time will tell how well they stand up, but i have already ordered more in other finishes, for other rooms and areas. my initial impression is it is a very high quality and innovative product, and a relatively easy and efficient way for a little design and home redo! . . definitely recommended. ; - )

These tiles made my van conversion really stand out. If this is your first time using these, be mindful that you have to be extremely careful with making each piece level. Just a slight raise in one tile can lead you to follow that an eventually when you stepback it will be uneven. Fortunately, I learned that lesson the last time I installed these so this one turned out much better. I've found that a good pair of scissors was very accurate for me. The texture of the tiles is great and gives an illusion that these are real, raised tiles. Well done smart tiles and please continue to make more modern designs like this. I am not a fan of most of your designs.

Purchased the tiles specifically to dress up our kitchen wall after we installed quartz countertops. We did not want a large quartz splash, so we went with the tiles. Looks great and installation was EZ-PZ.

We found the perfect house to rent but the kitchen backsplash was not our taste. We wanted a cheaper option to cover the backsplash without ripping up the tile and redoing it. So I hopped on pinterest and it lead me to here and I'm so happy I did!! I ended up getting 60 of these particular ones since they were on sale for on $.99!! We have about 12 left over and wasted a few sheets from mistakes we made. To take up the tile sheet was too easy so if you mess up and have to reset the tile after you have stuck it on its a breeze! I am so satisfied with our new backsplash and highly recommend it to anyone wanting a quick fix without breaking the bank.

I was looking for an inexpensive, yet good looking solution for my backsplash and I must say I'm pleasantly pleased with the results. I found that it was fairly easy to install as long as you have patience, sharp blade, ruler, and a cutting mat. I've received numerous compliments and my brother asked me if I did the grout myself.... hahaha... Really does look good and provides a nice touch to the kitchen. Thank you Smart Tiles!

We bought the tiles from Home Depot and we were impressed by the quality and look. They are so much nicer than an image on paper like other companies sell. This has a 3D look and feel so it really appears like real tile. It took a while to install but as others have stated, it's easy to do and well worth the time. We only needed the finishing edges in 2 spots.

We bought them online and wasn't sure what they would like and they turned out amazing! A little hard to line up around cabinets but once you get the cut right it looks great!

I bought it online and installed it alone in my DIY kitchen project. It turned out really well and nobody can tell the difference from real tiles! Vet happy!

Easy to work with and makes a great impact. Only needed a utility knife (fresh blade), straight edge or ruler (metal works best) and a cutting surface. I used these in my RV. Kitchen area and bathroom sink. Put them over the existing vinyl surface. First I wiped down the vinyl with alcohol pads. I did have to trim away some of the silicone sealant that was on the edge of the wall to the counter, to make sure I had a nice clean fit. I've gotten many compliments on them.
