Easy to install
I bought this product for an old RO system and it fit great. Took off the old cracked canister and placed this one. Worked without any problems highly recommend and will be purchasing more later this summer

The description should include "0-Ring is provided with filter housing"
I ordered 3 O-Rings because I did not know if it included them. I wasted money & time on ordering 3 O-Rings since it did not say it included them. Apec should add text saying that in the description.

Housing cracked at the seam
One of the 3 such housing cracked almost completely at the seam and caused kitchen flooding. Unfortunately we just recently replaced the floor from tile to wood, now we can see several floor damages.

Poor quality - leaks
Bought this item last fall to add a sediment filter to my system. The first one I received was manufactured so that the top would not screw down completely once the filter was inside. I received a replacement which was better but still didn't completely close. I sent pics to APEC and was told it was fine the way it was. I finally got around to installing it yesterday, and it leaks. I've had good luck with other products from this company, and I know how to properly install this thing, so I don't understand what the problem is here except for sloppy manufacturing. I'm so disappointed that I'm looking for a different company to buy parts from going forward. Time is too precious to waste installing faulty parts.
