APEC 23-CAB10 US MADE 10” x 2.5” Carbon Block Water Filter For Reverse Osmosis System

I use these filters as pre-filters for my 50 GPD RO system. I also use one as a post RO polishing/finishing filter. They are slightly larger diameter than the filters I used previously, and also heavier. Both parameters indicate more available filtering carbon. I use a micromho meter to test my finished water and just installed a new RO membrane to replace the one destroyed by chlorine allowed through by the previous brand of carbon block filters I was using. To date, the new membrane is working as it should. The previous brand of filters served me well for several years, but now are made in India and no longer are functionally acceptable. My grandson had the same issue and he also now uses the "Made in the USA" carbon block filters from APEC. We both are satisfied. There was a shipping issue, but I regularly was kept informed of the status by an APEK customer service representative.

my APEC filtering system is so clean tasting and i am addicted to the fresh taste. my girlfriends always bugs me to dress up my water, which i do in gallons jugs in the freeze but mostly i tell them "i don't need no stinking artificial tasting drinks, my APEC water is the tastiest drink there is.

We purchased our RO-90 system about 4(ish) years ago and we love it. We live in NYC, in a pre-war apartment building. Say what you like about NYC tap water, but personally, I can taste the chlorine, and I'm pretty sure they fluoridate it, too; and I am highly skeptical about the plumbing in my building...it's probably close to 80 years old, like the building itself! With our APEC system, we get clean-tasting H2O at the pull of a lever. I bought a test kit and it consistently tests below .003 ppm. I recently had an issue with one of the carbon filters and had to request some troubleshooting assistance and a replacement filter; Yadira, jennifer and Daniel were all patient, knowledgeable and super-friendly during the entire transaction. I even got a follow-up call to make sure everything was resolved. Can't say enough about the product and the company...and the people! Thanks to all for working during these trying times, and thanks to APEC for clean fresh water!

Quality you expect from an American company that provides American made products at affordable prices. I use this filter as part of my WFS 1000 under the sink filter system. My coffee has never tasted better!
