Installed 6 years ago, and refreshed the elements as recommended. performance exceeds expectations!
We remodeled our kitchen, so didn't install the filters until July, 2025. All went reasonably well except for the rubber gaskets. They didn't fit so I just reused the old ones. The filter does, however, provide excellent drinking/cooking water.
It's not clear how to choose the UV filter that matches your unit. I didn't discover this until I went to replace th UV filter as recommended 2 years later. APEC wouldn't replace the incorrect filters that were still in original packaging
