These replacement parts are top-notch quality, as always expected from APEC. My only comment is that there is room for improving the instructions. For example, to open the membrane housing, the instructions don't provide any guidance on how to properly loosen and open the cap, because you need means of holding the rest of the housing tight in order to put enough opening torque on the cap with the tool. I had to completely remove the membrane housing from the unit in order to do it, and that is not explained in the instructions. Even the APEC video in youtube shows this step as if the cap were loose from the beginning, which is not going to be the case for most people. Another opportunity for improvement is to include instructions on how to re-pressurize the bladder within the tank when it loses pressure after many years of service. I had to follow third party instructions to do it safely without putting any undue pressure in the bladder/tank, and it shouldn't be this way; APEC should provide their own instructions. Nevertheless, I am extremely happy with all my APEC products (two FUTURA water softeners, and three RO systems).

This is our 3rd year of using RO-90. So, need to replace stage 4 and 5 as well. Although one of the stage 2/3 is broken when it arrives, their customer service quickly shipped the replacement. I tested the water quality, which is much better than the bottled water.

This RO90 system is seven years old and the "Total Dissolved Solids" were beginning to rise. The ordering was very easy, as were the installation instructions that accompanied the replacement filters.The removal of the old filters and installation of their replacement, took about 70 minutes including washing the three entry filter housings. TDS readings with the original unit were 1-2 ppm with input at 295 ppm, and after 7 years the output rose to 22 ppm when the replacement parts were ordered. Current readings are on a down trend because of blended old and new water in the storage tank.

We have had our APEC RO system for 4 years and I changed out all of the filters and the membrane when our flow dropped off. Very easy swap on all 5 elements and a good price when purchased as a kit. The filter/membrane swap did not help our flow, so the membrane probably would last 5+ years in our application. We have a 10 micron filter on our main water line and a water softener, so our system sees reasonably good water. The root cause of our flow problem was the pressure tank had lost its air pre-charge. I purged all of the water out of the pressure tank, charged it with about 6 psi of air, and let the system re-fill. Our RO water pressure and flow is as good or better than new now.

Replaced destroyed big box store RO System following hurricane Florence in late 2018. I wish I had known about APEC years ago. Easily installed, filters last much longer than other brands. Water pressure at faucet is great,what is not to love? Thank you APEC for a wonderful product!

I've had the Apec RO-90 for several years now. After having issues with my New Tank not filling up I spoke to Apec and was advised to get new filters. I had some issues removing the old filters but thanks to Ken who provided detailed instructions on how to properly disconnect and remove the filters, was a big help in guiding me through this process and get my system up and running again.

Useful because everything's there to do a complete overhaul i.e. replacement of water filters. Not that I need directions but the directions are handy for the first timers. TDS total dissolved solids have come way down since the change reverse osmosis is not BS it works numbers prove it. so if you're in need APEC water should be your source, it has been mine for a while and there is no one else IMO!

I bought a house that came with the APEC system. After a few years, water started coming out with very low pressure until it all together stopped. Customer service was AMAZING. They walked me through several steps to figure out what was needed. I thought I needed to replace the water tank, but they said no, saving me money. I got new filters, replaced them, and once again tasty great quality water. Thank you APEC team!

Even though I made this a tough place to work on because it would have the least impact on my storage space, It was simple to replace the membrane and it's corresponding filter. I've had the system five years and this was my first membrane replacement. A big bonus is this new style membrane fit in place of my old one and has double the production capacity.

The Apec system does a great job of providing pure and convenient drinking water. The filter replacement each year is fairly easy and straightforward, and costs are reasonable. In an area where tap water is notoriously bad, this really works for us!
